Re: [Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

interesting, but editing the blp files to change skins is both simple and old. if you really wanna do something new, follow my lead and make your own models =P

P.S. No, i'm not going to explain it all -_- this is a suggestion if you want to better yourself at modding. I'm not releasing instructions or anything because creating models is much more easily detectable and breaks the ToS much more than just changing skins.

    Using the Tigon Model

Was wondering if you could use the skin graphics of your worgen model and slap them on the tigon.m2 model. You would have another biped model and it'd look great! (this is just a suggestion, i know you don't take personal request )

When I look at your new new cat & bear patch in MWC, there seems to be a corruption with the Tauren cat texture.

That aside, your work is fantastic. The bears are such an improvement over Blizzard's!

Re: [Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

@mesh7: Slap on? Nono, you don't get how it works then, the model have a different build, 'slapping' the texture onto something else will make it look absolutely awful. Besides the Tigons can't jump, they don't have the animation for it, aswell as strafing.

@Adagio: They're corrupted in MWC for me aswell (the file-path got ****ed up for some reason) but it works when I load the patch with WoWModelViewer. Please check it out if the patchfiles aren't working as they should and report to me.

@ryken0: Err, thanks... I guess? Of course I have considered making real models daft, but I can't magically just make models with no experience whatsoever. I have a contact who works with a Wii game who really can modify the models for me/us, but currently this person is a bit scheduled, but I hope we can get to do something to models in the near future. When it comes to me I'm going to try do some 3D-modelling, but as I'm realistic I won't be able to do anything remotely close to decent for release with this pack then.

    UPDATE:
New model for Catform which will make it look alot better. It's the Frostsabre!
Thanks to Flamewalker of Maelstrom (US) for the awesome tip.
It was so simple? The pack has been updated with this change.
    Enjoy!

    Heya An,

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but it appears your travel form model is applying to certain breeds of tamable cats as well. I'm standing outside of kara, and this guy's pet cat looks like a gray stag.

Just figured I'd point it out!

He knows, it's something that he would have to remove the entire Stag in order to fix

Will there be a Night Elf (Grey/Silver and Green) version of the Travel Form (Stag)?

(Hehe, I like all these colors...)

Re: [Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

But using your new cat model won't fix the range bug will it? Because the shape of the model is the same as the normal cat form now has.

Btw using your models on ptr worked after copying them into the wow/wowtest/data folder and installing a new ptr build:

Re: [Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

    UPDATE:
I just realized this piece was just lying on my harddrive after my attempt at making Dire Bear > Furbolg. It was succesful, but required ModelEditFix.exe to work so I scrapped the idea. The reason was that Dire Bear has onetexture, while the Furbolg requires two textures to look proper. Then, I remembered that when I was working with reskinning the current Moonkin, it had two textures aswell... so here it is, a Tauren Moonkin (only, so far) to Furbolg.
    Enjoy!
(Updated the download link with this new change)
