[Model Reskin] Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins

Hello,

I'm pretty new to all of this model editing, but i'm trying to figure it out.

Anyways, i found your skin pack some months before the Wotlk update, and i simply loved it!
Although, i really miss the old Worgen Catform skin, but i'm trying to figure out all the model software in order to make it work again.

Andrige - your work is simply awesome and very inspiring! Keep it up, champ!

No further updates announced in any near future, so sorry no.
I'm too busy using Multimedia Fusion 2 for my course here to create a game, kinda working my ass off on that right now.

Hence you've been too busy remaking it, i took the freedom myself to recreate the Worgen for patch 3.0.2 - that is - i've only done the Tauren Cat so far. But i'm counting on reskinning the Night Elf Cat aswell.

Since your the original designer of this skin, i am asking for your permission to publish these skins.

Thanks again for your great work with the Druid skins. You've been one hell of an inspiration!

EDIT:
After some testing, i've found that some of the animations causes the game to crash while in Worgen Cat Form. It's a "minor" bug, when taken into consideration how the original Worgen-Modification caused the Catform to be completely invisible and placed below the floor. But since i have such a limited knowledge about every file type, i'm unable to track down and fix the issue.

Is there any chance that you could also update the standard Tauren cat form to work with 3.0.3 as well?

And is there any word from anyone about why these skins seem to work for some with the newest version of WoW, and not others? Everything works fine for me except for any attempt to change the cat skin--it simply turns me invisible and glitches up the game.

I feel lost and broken without the feral skins I've enjoyed for so long

Wow, thanks, that did the trick. I just tried re-downloading the pack yesterday as I'm finally ready to level my druid alt from 70-80, could have sworn I nabbed the newest edition then but I guess not. I feel pretty stupid now.

Hey guys, i just want to know if someone can help me about the pack (i have the latest one) and i want to have only the dire bear, the lynx and the travel form altered.

I want the real swift fly form skin...i have tryed to remove the skin from the pack in MWCS but it made the complete pack to dont work .

Okay, first off, are we talking Tauren, or Night Elf models?

For Tauren, the Lynx hasn't been fixed for 3.0.2 (or 3.0.3, it doesn't matter). If I knew how Glitchy edited out the weapon from the models, I would do it myself (I remember seeing a post WAY back when Andrige was still making this pack in its early stages, where Andrige was told to hex edit a certain line from the model to remove the weapon's visibility - I've tried to do it myself, but no luck).

Second, the Travel Form is a seperate .MPQ, so that should be fine..

So essentially, you want the Tauren Cat Form removed, the Night Elf Swift removed.. And that's it? Or am I interpreting "Lynx" as the Tauren modificaton? ;o. If I could get some details on exactly what you want, I could put it together for you .

Also, Andrige, if you skim past this post, would you be able to point me in the right direction of how the Weapon was edited out of the models? Then, I'd be able to fix up the Tauren Lynx at least, I'm just missing a few minor details.

I got help from Glitchy who I know, he's the moderator of the MMOwned Model Editing forums. He have helped me out with this kind of stuff, the only thing I'm good at is reskinning/designing I'm afraid. Might try and ask him I guess if he's willing to help out.

Did he help you out with the Tauren Cat Worgen back in the days aswell?

As i wrote, i've made the Worgen skin work with - with your dark brown Worgen. But some of the animations causes game crashes. So far, i've encountered these crashes when attempting to open chests, herb plants and use Quest items which has cast time...

The old skin of yours had all these animations - and a bunch of /emotes aswell (/point, /roar, /laugh etc.). I'd be great if we could get the Worgen up running for 3.0.2/3!
