Don't think it mentions it anywhere in the magazine, Liss.
I didn't read it completely at the store (heh), but a friend of mine took a quick peek and he said it didn't mention anything. The rest of the pages/images had the original Moonkin skins though so I think it was just a coincidence.

Hmmm. I'm rather confused.

I tried to download the RAR files, as instructed, and yet when I extracted them, the only thing in the file was the Read Me.

It sucks. Those are some absolutely amazing skins, and I would love to have them; potential bannability be damned.

I want to install the file and i have installed this file: Druids of Azeroth - New Shapeshift Skins 06-03-08.rar, but it does not work. Yes i have made it MPQ file and new name and everything and i have tried outwith changing too...:banghead:

i want all the standards and the lynx thing, but how? plz help me.

Okay for those who can't extract it from the .RAR... update your version of WinRAR. I can't guarantee that it works for Windows default un-zipper, or WinZip for that matter.
@Aproydtix: You're doing something wrong, just go through the steps properly again. Remove the prefix in capital letters, leave the rest intact.
I see no reason why it shouldn't work really if you followed the steps.

@Necris: Read the topic, I have a part near the end which says what tools I use. No links though, just Google for it yourself or look on this site, it isn't that hard.

Hurray! I got it to work!

This is the most awesome thing ever. I'm so tempted to respec my Tauren Boomkin Feral just to look at this (now utterly awesome) Cat Form model more. Of course, having a Tauren and Night Elf proved to be a tough choice for me--which shared models to choose? In the end, I chose the Nelf ones, simply because silver is a little easier on my eyes than brown.

And my name's 'SilverKnight'. Maybe I'm biased. I dunno.

Anyway, great job! If I weren't a constant lurker, I'd get you +Rep for sure. ^^

can't get the worgen(patch-8.MPQ) to work for some reason ( on nightelf, haven't tried tauren) always get error when i place the file on the data folder and start wow, even without the patch-6.MPQ in there it still gives me error

If you had read the FAQ there's actually something that could solve it for you,
for some people solely having the .mpq in low-case letters doesn't make it work for some, and .MPQ then magically does.

Try that first, if that doesn't I'll try it again myself (although I hardly see a reason since I got it working when I was frapsing the video on that borrowed Nightelf)

You need to read people, and please say exactly WHAT went wrong in line with what the FAQ aswell as the installation notes says, and what deviated from there.

First of all, "GREAT WORK!"
Second, I have a similar problem with the Worgen Model from the Alternative Folder. The model shows up tightly, but the attack movements aren't shown.

Is there a bug, or have I done something wrong?

I've read all of the FaQ but trere is nowhere mentioned what to do.

actually i did read it all and well, the problem was that i was using the wrong file, i was using the one in Special Modeledits folder instead of the one in Alternatives folder, its working fine now
