how do you get your patch-z to patch-z.mpq?

everytime i try to put edits into my patch-z folder they never work and i'm guessing its because my patch-z isnt a mpq

im trying to find out how i can use my own edits. :/ would appreciate if u could help me out.

With the tauren male to goblin male swap you can see the bare feet,with the old swaps you could use a DBC edit to put shoes on,any other way around it since DBC edits are kinda fekked atm?

Thanks alot mate, they are not perfect but nothing you can do, when you're in-game playing you don't notice anything and everything else beside the face/hair is perfect anyway, so again thanks alot.
