-What this edit does-

-Change login logo to Cataclysm logo [Working]

-Change Login music to Cataclysm login music *The Shattering* [Working]

-Change the loading screens to Cataclysm Loading Screens *Northrend, Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdore, Outlands* [Working]

-Change the city musics of all the RACIAL capitals to Cataclysms city music *Orgrimmar, Stormwind, Ect* [Working]

-Change the death music to Cataclysm death music [Working]

-Dump that ol bitch Sindy and replaced with World of Warcraft Original login *Vanilla, Legacy* [Working]

-Changed loading bar to orange bar from Cataclysm [Working]

Once Blizzard releases a Cataclysm splash I will update this to it instead, currently Blizzard just uses the Wrath loging with various Cata modifications. I for one hate looking at Sindy day in and day out.

Apply the change
Step 1: Extract the file into your World of Warcraft Data folder (Typically located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data)

Step 2: Rename the MPQ to Patch-A (Or anything to Z, I think 1 through 9 still works aswell ((Not sure))

Step 3: Load WoW and enjoy.

This is a simple fix, make sure you are not still using any other login edits that change the music. Also some edits have you place an actual folder in your World of Warcraft Data folder (This would read as a folder named SOUND in your Data folder). Delete anything that has to do with the login music and it works.

This is great! Love it! music in Orgrimmar is awesome any chance you could get a hold of the music from the beta in some of zones to replace with the original music on live? So lets say the music in Durator has changed on the Cata Beta would be nice to hear it on the live servers. Same goes for the other zones

Master, I think it might depend on whether or not you can provide the needed textures/pictures.
That alone won't cover ye, so if you don't have the actually filez you may find your request getting ignored.

@MasterRich: I am sadly not the Cata beta so I do not have access to all of files, however I do believe that so far those are the only canged sounds input in the game at this time. Once I get my hands on the new ones once they are released I will throw them in a pack.

Also it's my experience the wallpaper do not work very well, they fit once resolution the mpq is made for and no other.

Not sure if anyone can help me, I've been trying to get any model swaps to work - and only a selective few work (like a recently posted Moonkin to Etherial). But most do not work at all (no changes, like I didn't even place the MPQ file!)

And the same with this one, nothing changes on the login screen, music - anything at all! It's driving me crazy, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I followed the correct instructions, renamed the files to patch- A to Z, or numbers. I even tried with ".MPQ" and ".mpq" (a few years ago this would help, from what I remember). But nothing works. Did they update something with the latest WoW patch that these somehow fail to work?

It however only seem to fail for me, so I'm really clueless. I also read on some posts something about a "model fix", but then people claim that with this version it's not needed at all anymore (and wasn't even needed for 'simple model edits', like im trying). Help!
