    [Spell Swap] Various druid spells made flashier

    Here's a swap of the following spell animations (and associated sounds), which make playing a druid flashier:

    Wrath -> Fireball
    Rejuvenation -> Divine Aegis
    Bash -> Blast Wave
    Barkskin -> Aegis of Dalaran
    Moonfire -> Holy Fire
    Healing Touch -> Greater Heal
    Mark of the Wild -> Power Word Fortitude
    Thorns -> Blessing of Sanctuary
    Swiftmend -> Prayer of Mending
    Nature's Grasp -> Inner Fire
    Tiger's Fury -> Primal Instinct
    Abolish Poison -> Hand of Freedom
    Innervate -> Elusive Power

    Spell swap download:

    patch-7.MPQ

    Example screenshot (barkskin and rejuvenation active together):

    (The mounted moonkin is from another edit I made, probably too minor to get its own thread, which appears wrong on the character select screen but appears right in the game itself: night elf male -> moonkin here: patch-6.MPQ ).

    Thanks.

    The method I use for spell swapping is fast and easy, but it has a limitation: If a spell originally just has an instant burst on target upon casting completion, with no animation slowly traveling to the target, such doesn't appear after swapping either.

    (There is another, different method of spell swapping I vaguely recall reading about, which might avoid that limitation, but the other method is more complicated, probably doable by someone but not me).

    For instance, wrath -> chaos bolt would work, or starfire -> holy fire (though holy fire is used for moonfire in the earlier patch), but starfire -> chaos bolt only partially works since it still has no traveling bolt part.

    Only the casting appears and then an instant burst on target. Here's the result when I tried it:

    patch-7.MPQ

    I don't have a warlock to be 100% sure about this, but, if I recall correctly, incinerate has a traveling wave animation to the target too, so it'd have the same issue?

    Still, if you have another suggestion for swapping, drawn from anywhere from player spells or trinket effects to boss ability animations, let me know.

    would be awesome if you could make a guide of this, anyway if it's fast, would you rather make 1 with only spellswaps for starfire and wrath?

    edit: somehow i didn't manage to download the 2nd patch 7, can't get it to download, it's saying "your download is starting" and then just starts over

    I posted a guide appearing now in the guides subforum:

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...thout-mes.html

    It sounds complicated, but, once you do it once, it only takes several minutes. I'm not personally sure what would be best to swap Starfire with, while avoiding the issue of no traveling wave animation to the target on that particular spell, but you can probably figure out something. Wrath changes are easy.
