    [Development] BLP-Studio

    Hello everybody!

Parallel to my mapeditor im developping a little studio to deal with the textures used in WoW (.blp). This contains lossfree conversion to other imageformats (its lossfree if you convert'em back with the studio as it saves extra information which other programs maybe dont care) and back again to blp-textures. It also allows you to change the compressionrate of texture (DXT1, DXT3, DXT5, uncompressed).

In addition there is an application that allows you to directly interact with the texture and change it. This changes get of course applied to every miplevel and you can also change every miplevel as you want it to look.

    Here are some first screenshots:

    Greetings

Protip: Use IrfanView. It has BLP2 support as well as about every other image format.

Yes, IrfanView covers some of the very basic features.

Actually, IrfanView can do more than your application can.

Its nice to see you writing stupid posts wihtout knowing anything about what my application is planed to do .

    ps:
Its not my problem if you dont get stuff like MCCV running because you use OpenGL and WoW is made on DirectX and so everything is made to operate smoothly with DX.

    pps:
Oh, i forgot, i did MCCV in OpenGL (if i remember correctly i also gave you the code how its done?) not in DirectX *g*.

You know exactly! If not, think about it

But now: Back to topic. And for you schlumpf, pretty simple: Wait until its finished and then write again
