[Item Swap] Hunter t7.25 to t8 and hoppefully more to come...

Well, this is my first post in this forum and my first model edit in wow

My goal now is to replace all t7.25 for t8 armour(except warlock and paladin because i already saw some threads with them)

and because this is my first model edit it has some errors and bugs, for example in the hunter one, the textures for the boots and gloves look kind of wierd in the t7 models so i replaced the t6 gloves and the dungeon set 2 boots so you'll have to use model swapper from glitchy(http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...ompatible.html) to use the gloves and boots....

Hunter

head, shoulders, pants, chest- valorous cryptstalker
gloves- gronnstalker
boots- beastmaster's boots
belt- torn web wrapping

btw: the helms only work on races that can be hunters+humans

Istallation:
1-put the patch-7.MPQ on your data folder
2-with model swapper replace:-heroes/valorous gloves and handwraps of faith for gloves of the avatar
-valorous crown and circlet of faith with hood of the avatar
3-Enjoy

UPDATE:
by request i changed the hateful gladiator pvp set with t8, only fully replaced the hateful set because the body textures for the other 2 sets look really nice with the t8 shoulders and head that i replaced (see screens- red is deadly glad and grey/dark green is the savage glad)

This one came almost perfect, you won't need model swapper but there are no textures for male t8 torso and no helm models for belf female and undead female, but i uploaded anyway

btw, i may not be able to do the druid, warrior and shaman ones because i can't find the files in the .MPQ's

also, i choosed the colors by what i think it looks the best for the set but if you ask kindly i can change them

Was about to do this myself when I stumbled across your thread.

Just FYI, any class can be in any of these sets you just need to switch the current gear you're wearing with the gear he's swapping to make look like the t8. (T7/7.5)

+Rep for you! Any way you can do the warlock one? the one that was on these boards disappeared wont come up by search anymore. For some reason even if equip the same gear you change up it wont work on my shaman (i model edited to look like a female undead priest) the mage sets wont load the helm either.

UPDATE: It's working fine for me(screens), maybe your race swap is causing some kind of conflict

i figured out the issue with the priest helm, what happens is that the DrF file was still resizing to a normal Draenei Female head as its supposed to so i went extracted the Skin and .M2 files for ScF and renamed them with DrF and replaced the DrF .M2's and .skins but i still see this although the helm is not bigger and fits perfectly.



e: Warlock edit works perfectly just had to make a DrF files and it worked ;P

Update: figured out the problem, the patch with t8 must be always a letter/number higher than the model to appear like it was supposed to appear. for example if the DrF->ScF patch is named patch-A.MPQ the t8 one should be named patch-B.MPQ or something higher to work propperly. Screens
