Stallions of the Elements
Mount Reskins by Liaa
This is the final, official release of my mount reskins, originally shown off as Warhorses of the Elements around three weeks ago.
I've completely revamped the reskins, and added two new ones as well.
Note: I did NOT make an .MPQ for this release. The amount of work it would take to change over
fifty mount types, then another six times for every mount I've done would be ridiculous.
Do the math, that's 350 different model swaps.
What I DID do was give you, the downloader, all the files necessary to change your mount into mine.
Plus, this will also help my conscious, knowing there will be far few leechers here downloading and
using my files without acknowledging the work that went into them. And hell, maybe you'll learn a
thing or two and contribute back to MMOwned.
But because for now I have no way to make a video, as I'm sick, I am taking requests! Leave a message
here of which mount you want swapped to what. It will help me build an archive of .MPQ's I can release
later on. Please don't message me (especially leechers) with "ZOMG IT DUZNT WORK FIX IT PLZ".
What you will need:
1. MWCS (My Warcraft Studio) Yes boys and girls, you'll be doing to very own model editing!
2. Model Edit Fix for your current patch.
3. WinRAR or some other .rar extracting program.
4. You really should do this with a mount with an eye glow. Yes, I know this is silly
and a rough constraint for lower level players, but I can't really help this one. All my models have glowing eyes,
(except Flame, the eyeglow on that is independant of external files) and if you replace your non-glowing-eyed
mount with one of mine you're gonna get little white squares over their eyes.
5. Don't use a Kodo, these are so scaled down for most races other than Taurens,
and that scale is passed on to any model replacing the Kodo. Looks like you're riding a miniature horse.
