This is strictly a showoff!

Warhorses of the Elements

My original idea for this project was to create a collection of mounts, each of which representing the major elements/schools of magic that exist within the game and in various myths and lore. Cats were going to be the model used, however there was little to no variation between each cat model. So, I chose horses, as there is such a broad range of models useable for an idea like this.

The models have all been reskinned, some aspects changed around and all reskins and swaps should be available for every mount.

For now I have one mount for:
Nature
Ice
Fire
Shadow
Holy

however the project is not yet complete and if you have any suggestions please let me know. I'd like to do more for other elements or schools of magic, so throw me some ideas!
Sorry for the letters being cut out of each title of the video. WMM is unreliable.

Update 28/01: Holy and Shadow skins have been altered.
30/01: Nature revamped, less horrid.

These look pretty nice, I especially like the Ice one. I'd like to see an Arcane version, that'd be pretty wild.

I seriously considered arcane, and really want to try it.
Problem is I'd like to make the moutn somewhat transparent and M2modder shits out on me when I try to use it with the new M2's.
Hex isn't cutting it either, as the MPQ is a swap.
Sigh!

Why are all of them except the first just recolours? It's good but a little disappointing.

Because I don't have the tools to do custom models.
I work with what I have available to me.
Besides, I said it was just a reskin.

I like the holy and ice ones the most, not a fan of the nature one at all TBH.

That was the one I had the worst time with, without editing the model itself I was a bit at a loss.
However I haven't found a reliable method to import and export useable m2's into Autodesk with the new .skins files.

Aha and no, the original mount was the direwolf. Still trying to figure out how to switch the prints up.
