model editing is changing models in game in order to change appearences. Mainly, its for cosmetic benifits, though it can have more, though most of the higher editors either frown upon or actually protest against using edits for cheating or exploiting purposes

Well, yes and No. EDITING is more opening up the file in a Hex editor. Changing is really what most people here do. That is, replacing one, Un-edited, file with another. Though, I am not referring to Texture's.

Re: Please Read Before Posting On These Forums Answers Many Issues!!!

First post on the forums, but have been lurking for some time now. I also realize this is not a 'support' section, so I'll be brief...try not to drown in my knowledge-less-ness.

I'm sure I can figure it out once I get going, but off the bat, is it possible to retexture a created, custom item that say, uses the Sulfuras hammer texture, while keeping the texture of the original sulfuras in tact, or generally, when you modify a texture, you are replacing the texture completely? I guess what I'm getting at is...custom, new retextures, do they cancel out the edited ones?

If this gets deleted, or I get warned, I understand, but I just felt that was a basic question that I really didn't see answered specifically.

    thanks for your time.
