    Ehm, use Nurbs i'd say. (I don't use it for everything tho.) And hold right mouse button over your creations and move it over to "Control Vertex" before you let the mouse button go, then move verts around.

    Lol...someone tells me to use poligons cos they're easyer and you tell us to use nurbs :P

    I m using Maya for Animation class right now. Trust me, polygons are much more flexible. You can combine the parts and then separate them when needed. FYI, try to not make it look fancy, simplicity is the key. I love a simple lvl 21 Gray sword that drops from Gnomerean cuz it looks very simple and cool. Hate it when Blizz tries too hard to make good looking gear, they ruin it by making it more complex and bigger. T_T
