[Compilation] Old Model edit stuff in the past

Well, since model editing section is now splitted up and this section is formly used for previews, show offs, ideas etc, I just thought of posting my old old old edits here. Screenies only though, all the MPQs are deleted, and some of those screenies are way from 2006-2007 lol.







Dunnow bout this one why I made him, maybe I was just trying to test things out, e.g re-textures etc. If I remember correctly, this was just a swap with DB form and then retexturing.





(this one is because Nefarian consisted of 3 textures back then, and since I only swapped the model and 1 texture from cat form, this is the result ^^)



changed frost trap into the netherdrake model, and this was result ^^ I could hop onto the trap lol.



this was just a noob edit, I remembered that someone posted a MPQ for this one, and I just changed the logo into...well ya know ^^



cat form into that steam tonk if I remember correctly, Greiga was my druid char on a priv server back then where I played on frequently, but was shut down ghehe.



Just again a simple swap, a random mount to the tauren cat form.



Me playing dead while a gnome rogue pwned me...(I swapped this time Nefarian succesfully ^^)



well this was sort of my compilation from back then, found them when I browsed through my photobucket album lol. Those were my edits from way back then when I was messing around, and when custom models were not possible ^^ I just felt like posting these because Im bored lol.

^^ well I actually made this topic too to let other starting model editors see that I was once also like them, doing basic swaps, textures etc, but just like the others here, we just improve ourselves and make more lovely things.

With this I just want to let everyone know that with will power and knowledge you can come a long way, just like the others I just wanted to improve myself to a certain limit, and for me it is making custom models. If you want to do something and take the time and effort for it, you will be able to succeed in it.

Other then that, I notice that some of them were from 2006, the non-custom model era <.< , o well, now you can do lots of things with model editing, thank god for the improvement of programs and knowledge about model editing. Though I never gonna learn area editing lol, cba to do it because it isn't really my taste to make a area edit ^^ I just keep it small.

I like your edits, cus i am the biggest noob eva, i couldent even change the color of undeads skin.. So for me, thats good. But model swapping, i remember that i sucessed one, like 11weeks ago, but its gone and i cant remember what it was xD
