Frostmourne reskin project

Hey guys, i'm in the process of reskinning the old frostmourne skin floating around and hopefully learning how to add a blue aura effect to the rune etchings and skull openings, and a frost enchant to the blade itself. I have finished the skin itself for the most part, next is to give a go at the particle injecting and such. Anyways, heres the skin.

looks better than allot of them ive seen, but if i were you, i would take more time up by the handle. it kinda looks a little shaky up there. but thumbs up. keep going ^^

You mean the texture? I never really paid attention to it since your hand covers majority of it but i'll try to make it more clear and crisp.

This is the best frostmourne skin made thus far, im impressed, good job. The Blade is flawless however, the skull and hilt could defnitely use some work, doesn't look quite right.

Sorry about the lack of updates, i've been busy with other real life stuff and haven't had much time to work on it. I did manage to tweak the hilt and handle parts a bit and i managed to inject particles to the model, but thats where my progress stopped because i have no clue how to edit it to the point where it covers the parts of the blade i want and stuff.

Also, does anyone have any clue on how to add that metallic sheen to the weapon? It looks somewhat bland without where as other ingame models all have it and shine when you rotate and such.

Hock, you're doing well and this is definitely the best skin for the model yet. Because you seem capable to edit textures effectively i'd personally suggest you base the skin after Frostmourne - Epic Weapons rather than the WOTLK icy frostmourne.

IMO, it would look more solid and crisp in-game. Even if you keep the icy blade, i believe you can use the replica to fix the skull/hilt. Good luck and keep us updated. +rep
