no im getting a permissions error too and i have used this alot but not in past week or 2 i do think its having problems except mine isnt executing...might have a virus ill check and edit this post with an update...



thats what im getting correct me if im wrong im linux not windows person but isnt permissions for on a network and since im the comp admin shouldnt this not happen?

1. i have a virus
2. file fuked?

Disable software firewall (I use the one in my router) and kill avg. You need to get Avast instead, you can simply turn off avast when you wanna run wow instead of having to completely kill the process trees to get it to work.

No, it's not. I tried shutting down all my anti virus software and it still came up with the same thing.

no its still running in the background, get a program like procexp and you'll see exactly whats running on your computer that you cant see in the task manager.

i put the ModelEditFix in C:\program files\world of warcraft and put pit this file

"http://rapidshare.com/files/25665422/patch-4.mpq.html" in data.. (troll fem -> dreanei fem) and i get an error every time i try and run the game with the model fix... can someone give me a step by step process as to how to get this to work? if so.. thank you
