what another dude said before, the creator might have been releasing prew. versions without any trojans or key logger threats just so ppl could trust, and now the time has come, since he gathered lots of accounts as the last days passed, it's time for him to hit en run, but getting the account and making a little fortune =))

That is not what I was trying to get at when I posted that. I meant that while it's possible that it is a virus, it's much more likely to be a false positive since only one major antiviral saw it as a virus.

downloaded modelfix / changed models with MWS - everything works just fine! thank you guys ! time to go play my new undead =)

ps. no viruses find in modelfix so....

Hey, I downloaded the fix a few days ago to play with some race changing. The premade packs were pretty ugly so I decided to make my own. However, now, whenever I open modeleditfix.exe, it opens wow and then exits wow almost immediately (the modeleditfix command window stays). I haven't changed anything from last time, when it worked perfectly. Help is appreciated. edit: never mind, found the issue: was putting my new MPQ in the wrong folder.

I downloaded the one from 'luddo9' and it looked like the icon of the PTR .exe so I put both files in the WoWtest map + the .mpq files in the Data map. I start WoW via modelfix.exe and still get an error when I get to character list :/

Could someone just _LINK_ me the newest .exe for the Normal Servers not PTR, because i downloaded the one from the first page and i cant even move the .exe it to my wow folder it just says error... really pisses me off so please help me someone

Ehm.. I don't like this.. when I scanned the fix my virus progg tells me that this is a Trojan. is my Virus progg just weird or is it true?

Guys please read the thread, it is most likely a false positive.

Avast now sees the change as a virus :/.
