no it stores information about the items you see ingame and if you change it like I've done you'll see another item instead.

Nice Work, would you mind if i took this idea and changed into a patch file instead of an itemcache, with it as a patch it doesnt matter if you play with different cache styles and you can always easily move the patch around. Sorry if this kinda hard to understand.

Basically your design is itemcache.wbd which can be changed by WoW very easily. I can convert all the edits to .dbc and .m2 edits and create a patch out of it for those that dont like itemcache files, would you mind if i did that?
