The main page should be reserved for tings that take SKILL. I've said this before, and I'll say it now: literally, since monkeys can be tought to push certain buttons in complex orders, TRAINED MONKEYS CAN RECOLOR/MODEL SWAP.

*I* suggest a new sub forum for model swaps. It'll keep them up, but in their own forum, a bit behind the out of the way, so the real stuff can shine in the main model editing board.

Why the hell shouldn't people be able to post weapon -> Weapon changes anymore...? They are fine, but there are so many guides out now, that people should just be able to edit their own weapons. But still, let them post what they want to as long as its a quality post, and not spam or flames or anything.

all im saying is we should be above the model swaps now. we should be doing more. the last actual artwork ive seen was... well, my own. im just wondering where all of us went.

Indeed, it's not anything special, and should be considered spam. It would be like posting on the Halo boards everytime you win a match. Or on your guild's forum everytime you ding. It's nothing that needs posting, and it's push the threads that might have some really good stuff in pages 2 and 3 and so on, thus keeping them from being spred. Most item swaps get, what, 5, maybe 6-7 replies?

I think its fine to post basic edits that you think people will enjoy. I just think that you should see improvement (bigger and better things) as the user progresses and that the user should try to do new and interesting things.

MMOwned is not going to make a sub forum for model swaps, we have the MES for people that know how to do stuff and would like to advance. There fore the need for more subforums is not needed. If you worried about people not seeing your stuff because of all the spam, contribute to discussions more. I know I click instantly on a few peoples threads regardless of what it is based on what they contribute to discussions. Some model editing in skill but you can only go so far with that.

One of the reason i Made the WDB Model Swap is to try to Remove all the Weapon X to Weapon Y Model Edits. I made it easy for people to swap there weapons and armor in hopes that the forums would be less spamed with Weapon and armor swaps.

I do like seeing people trying to start model edit and everyone has to start somewhere but I don't like that that is all we are seeing right now. What ever happened to the old zone changes and everything.
