Ya i still cant get it to work no matter what i try. =( I cant seem to get any cutom MPQ to load and i've made sure to check everything that could be wrong. I'm doomed ><
Noodel working on some models right now ? ;P
If by models, you mean a model of my High Elf sound plan, then yes.
I am working on a model.
The way I have constructed each race change will effectively overwrite any preceeding race change done in DBC. This means you can only have one of my race changes active at any one time.Originally Posted by Ghostharvey

And even then I'll be 'selective' to who I do it with.
very nice this
Updated.
All 10 races are now supported.
Future updates will include proper Sound fixes and even some cosmetic changes in the Character creation screen.
I am however not conducting any multipack files for the time being.
Okay, I don't know what the **** I'm doing wrong /; I've downloaded the the file and called it patch-6 ( just be sure it would work ). I have the newest version of MEF and WoWme. But! I to be honest have no idea how MEF works, when I click it I only I see is "find" "launch" "patch" and I get lost. What am I suppose to click to get this to work ? ;s I used to be able to use model edit before the patch just with WoWme. But now it seem like you need more than just that ? If anyone could help me out, please do :|
"Open the WoWME.cfg and add in one line the exact file name of the downloaded race change file - eg. "HighElfNE.mpq" (Without the quotations)" Is prolly what I'm doing wrong, don't really understand it.
use .MPQ instead of .mpq , should work
Simple fix.
I made my edits using Knyox's MEF, not Chazz's.
I've been meaning to write an installation guide for users of Chazz's fix, but have yet to get around to it, now would most likely be a good time.
For now, get Knyox's MEF since it's also on the same sub-forum as Chaz.
Unfortunately for me I've been trying both fixes. Still can't get HighElfHu.MPQ to work. I've been through all the steps multiple times, I even reinstalled WoW, so i don't really know whats wrong and why i can't do it. Also i cant get any custom MPQs to run.
What is quite strange ist that my femal Belf usually has blonde hair, after I've applied the patch she has brown/red hair.
hey noodle,
what about my changes?![]()
can anyone host the MEF there useing and link it here. mef 2.4 Mef wont work.. please at least post reply saying "heres the DL" or "NO GO AWAY"
