I recently came across this mod and haven't been able to get it to work. Not really sure what the problem is -- using the MEF located in bots and programs. Not sure if there is another MEF out there that one should have to make this particular mod work. I just end up seeing the same old Night Elf, nothing special. lol

I assume you're running the version of Knyox's MEF equal to the game version?
If so, in the cfg file you must have the entire file name and it's case sensitive. Other than that, having the mpq files in your data folder and the MEF files in the main folder I see no issues getting this to work.

Take a course in DBC editing, the file to edit will be Charsections.dbc
Search HighElf, then work your way from there.

On that note, editing Tauren was a lot easier then I expected.

I have ran across problem with this great mod.I use the descipe.net 2.4.1 MEF that works for everything else but when I try to run wow and this mod is in my data folder WoW doesn't run at all.. no error .. just runs on my toolbar and before anything pops up it closes, and yep I open wow with WowME.exe.

Is it possible you to make a Tauren Male -> Female High Elf swap ?

EDIT: In fact I'm facing some weirds textures in-game:



no problems for the bare feet I'll fix it by myself, but the Male High Elves' size is as big as Taurens' size (contrary to the females who are as tall as the original BE/HE females.

I got a suggestion aswell, You should after sometime make swaps for every race as your rep+ will flow in but you should make just 1 file for each race swap, with both genders inside it.

I actually realised when I posted it - that most tauren players are male, and that those people would rather the female elf >.>

If you can be patient, I'll look into it after the weekend.

As for your second part, I don't get the question.

Did you want race repacks with Female/Female or Male/Male instead of Male/Female?

Hey it's me again

Since 2.4 it is possible to drop the "Orb of the Sin'dorei" in the new dungeon Magisters' Terrace (got mine this afternoon).

It applies the following spell on the user :Blood Elf Illusion - Spells - World of Warcraft

It's what we want to do with all the RaceX -> BloodElf swaps.

So I was wondering if it's not possible to grab this spell in the W0W original's MPQ, to put it in MyWarcraftStudio and create a new mpq which contains this spells, so this Illusion would be applied on the character permanently without textures bugs, bare feet or helm fixes

It's just a proposition, I don't know if it's doable.

I don't get what you're trying to say.

You want to make this some spell for each class?
Even if we were to do this, only the user of the MPQ would see it and it will still require the Model Edit Fix.

If you were suggesting for someone to hack the spell to be unlimited, then you're in the wrong thread and forum.
