Best Ways to Make Gold Guide-
    Eh not mine...

    About

This guide contains the newest, most secret and best ways to fill your character's bags with gold for the current World of Warcraft version. You do not have to be level 60 to gain advantage from this guide. This guide contains lots and lots of different ways to obtain loads of gold, starting from level 1. Remember that every item has a different price in every realm!

    Enjoy!

Methods that have this mark are hot stuff and might even get nerfed in the future! Don't miss these! ^^

    General Tips

    - If you want to gain lots of money starting from the beginning, you should choose mining and skinning as your professions. Fishing is also useful if you like it, though you won't make much use out of it until you have around 150+ fishing skill.

    - Do not buy any equips for your character until you are over level 10. Quests will provide your items until then.

    - Buy your backpacks asap! The bigger, the better.

    - Do every possible quest! Especially ones that require grinding.

    - Do not take Engineering or Blacksmithing as your professions.

    - Pick up every item you find. Sell greys and other crap to vendors and sell white trade goods, greens and blues in AH.

    - If you hold shift button while looting, you save a few seconds.

    - When you sell stuff in AH, always put a buyout! This way you will sell faster. Also make the price a few silver lower than other people sell.

    - The faster you kill mobs, the more money you will gain! So you should always fight mobs that are at least 1-3 levels below you.

    - If possible, try to level your character by killing beasts and humanoids. If you are a skinner, you can skin the beasts you have slain. And humanoids will drop coins everytime.

    - True money making starts after level 10! So do not waste your time by farming things when you are level 1. Concentrate on the exp until you are at least level 10! However, you will also gain lots of money even at level 1 if you choose mining and skinning.

Notice these before you continue any further!

    - When I talk about prices, I mean buyout price.

    - Prices vary, depending on realm, a lot!

    - Everything is about luck! Sometimes you have to kill a monster 1000 times until it drops something cool, sometimes you have to kill it only once!

    - Everything you will find here are meant to do solo, unless otherwise instructed.

    - Gold in a hour is really hard to predict. Sometimes you will get 10g in a hour and next time you will gain 700g. Also, for example, Linen cloth sells for only 5 silver on some realms, and other realms might have it go for over 2 gold! So you should definitely check your AH prices before you decide what to do.

    - I've given my personal score to every grinding spot. This is between 1 and 10.

    - I have done these tips only with alliance.

    - Serious gold making is time consuming, so you should have lots of time if you wanna become the richest! Also good luck is recommended! =D

    - This guide does not contain the basics of WoW and other stuff like that, since this is just a money making guide.

    Professions

    [Engineering]

    - Score: 8
    - Recommended level: 1+
    - Difficulty: Time consuming but easy
    - Recommended profession: Engineering
    - Gold in a week: 200+

Usually people thinks Engineering is a money eater due to the high cost to level it to 300, but you can also make money out of it in some realms. I have noticed that some elite PvP:ers in my realm loves to buy Small Bronze Bombs and Heavy Dynamites due to the fact that they are too lazy to make them. To make Heavy Dynamites you only need a wool cloth and some blasting powder which can be obtained from cheap stones. Small Bronze Bomb requires a bit more of materials but it's also better. You can easily gain 4-6g profit a stack, and even more if you farm your materials yourself. If you are gonna try this, you should first create only a stack or two and see if people likes it on your realm. You can also advertise their stunning advantages in pvp in channel /2 ^^

2x Heavy Blasting Powder, 1x Wool Cloth = Heavy Dynamite
4x Coarse Blasting Powder, 2x Bronze Bar, 1x Silver Contact, 1x Wool Cloth = Small Bronze Bomb

    [Herbalism]

With herbalism you can do some nice money at later levels. For example a stack of Gromsblood goes for around 20g. There is also other valuable herbs in lvl 50+ areas so you should pick every flower up. Epic mount and stealthing abilities are very helpful in herb runs. ^^

    [Tailoring]

Tailoring can make you some nice gold too. For example, you can disenchant runecloth belts you have made and gain lots of dream dust, lesser eternal essences and maybe even small brilliant shards. To create one belt, you need 3 x Bolt of Runecloth and 1 x Rune Thread.

You can also make Mooncloth from 2x Felcloth. If you are under level 50, you should buy the felcloth from auction house. If you are over level 50, you can hunt the felcloth yourself. In this case, look for the felcloth part on the next page. You can easily make 10g profit/mooncloth if you use auction house since one can sell for even 20g. Only negative part in this is that you have to wait 4 days before you can weave another mooncloth and you have to swim in a moonwell at the same time when weaving your mooncloth. To access a moonwell fastest, ask a nearest mage to portal you to Darnassus. There is a moonwell in the same room where the portal goes.

    [Skinning]

Only way to powerlevel this is to skin monsters that are skinnable. (beasts) When you have got a stack of skins, you can sell them in AH. Remember to check their current price first though! Best way however is to wait until your inventory is full and then visit a vendor or AH. Here is a list of items and their prices in my realm.

    [Mining]

This is one of the best ways to earn some nice gold. Mining is extremely slow to level, but it's definitely worth it! Copper stage should be leveled in your starting zone (Elwynn Forest, Durotar etc.) and when you have earned 65 mining skill, you can start hunting for Tin nodes. Tin can be found from zones that are meant for level 10-20 people, such as Westfall, Darkshore and Barrens. Once you have reached 125 mining points, you should start looking for Iron veins. Iron can be found from several places, but the best spots are in Tanaris, Badlands, Thousand needles and Arathi Highlands. Nexts is Mithril, which needs 175 mining skill. This is a moneymaker, because it's used in engineering and blacksmithing. Best mithril spots can be found in Tanaris and Badlands. Last is Thorium! You need 245 points to dig this in a Small Thorium vein. Thorium can be found from every level 50+ zone, but there is once again some best spots! Western Plaguelands, Winterspring and Burning Steppes, remember those! You should check your server's AH prices for different minerals so you know what you should mine! Here is more info about mining.

Tip: You can find mining veins near mountains and stones, so you should circle around maps' borders.

    [Fishing]

Fishing is not so profitable anymore as it once was. Now only fishes that are worthwhile to fish is Stonescale Eel and Deviate fish. You should fish Stonescale Eels around 0:00-7:00 since these fishes do not like to eat in daylight. A stack of Stonescale Eels sells for around 20g. Next few pics contain the best spots to fish these. Deviate fishes can be found from Wailing Cavern and the pool outside of it. Wailing Cavern is in the Barrens. Cooked Deviate fishes goes usually for 90s each and raw 60s. The recipe can be found from these monsters: http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=6661 Also, on some realms Firefin Snappers and Oily Blackmouths sell for 2 gold a stack.

There are around 6 pools of elemental water in the shores of Azshara. You will get lots of elemental waters and Essence of Waters. There is only around 6 spots and to the best of my knowledge and only one or 2 of them is visible at a time. It is recommended to have over 400 fishing skill to succesfully fish these babies. So maxed out fishing skill + 100 lure and 35 from fishing pole should be good. Here are all the confirmed elemental pools:

    Kill For Gold

This is the best way to earn money so here is a list of different ways to make gold by grinding. Remember, if you are level 60, you will make the most money since you can kill faster and more efficiently. And if you are new to WoW, grinding means killing monsters over and over again. ^__^ If you are under level 10, the only way for you to make nice money is gathering professions, such as mining. Some of the end game tips are Rogue and Druid only because of the stealthing benefits.

Notice: Every realm has different prices for almost every item and they also change really often, so the price estimates you will see in this guide might not be the same in your realm.

    [Formula: Enchant Weapon - Lifesteal]

    - Score: 10
    - Recommended level: 60
    - Difficulty: Elite
    - Recommended class: Mage/Warlock/Priest
    - Gold in a hour: 500+ (With drop!)

You have to kill level 57-60 elite Spectral Researchers in Scholomance for the Lifesteal enchant formula. It has a 0.90% drop chance so you have to reset the instance many times before you find one, though some lucky people get it on their first kill. You will find lots of other valuable items here aswell, and every class can solo these if you know how to play your class and have decent gear. Spellcasters however do not need that great gear. There is only about 4 soloable Researchers in the first room so you have to reset after those. You need to kill some Risen Guards and Scholomance Acolytes and Neophytes aswell, but they aren't any tougher than Researchers and has great loot tables too. If you are under level 60, you will gain massive amounts of experience per kill, until this method also gets the nerf stick. Lifesteal enchant formula's median price is 700 gold, however on some realms it's only 200+ gold.

Tip: Have some potions and bandages ready and use cooldowns!
Tip 2: Save all scourgestones you find and return them to a Argent Dawn npc when Burning Crusade has been released for a massive exp boost!

This is a good farming spot and you will gain various other things besides gold. Main reason to farm these is usually the reputation with Timbermaw Hold, as you will gain reputation with them everytime you kill a Winterfall furbolg. You will also obtain Firewaters which sell nicely. If there are other people killing the same furbolgs, your gold in a hour will drop dramatically. These furbolgs can be found in the eastern Winterspring, not too far away from Everlook.

If you are lucky, you might find golden pearls from clams. Best results will come from Big-Mouth clams in my hot opinion. I've noticed that Hatecrest nagas in Feralas drop these clams every second kill usually. Most of these can be found in a cave on a separate island, just south of Feathermoon Stronghold. Nagas in here will respawn before you even have cleared the cave so there is plenty to kill and the area isn't even populated usually so you can grind in peace. These nagas also drop lots of other items so remember to pick all up. You should open clams with shift button to save time. One golden pearl goes for 17g usually. Some people sell these even for 100g each and some for 5g so check your realm prices before selling one. Another spot to farm these is Shattered Strand in Azshara, though there is a lot less of them and they are level 50 ish.

One rum goes even for 2g in some realms if there aren't much of them in the ah. More normal price for these are 50 silver coins. You should not sell big stacks of these, instead sell them in stacks of 3 or so. The pirates will also drop silver coins every time and other items, such as treasure map parts. If you are a skilled mage with a nice mana pool, you can kill up to 15 pirates in less than a minute. If you are not skilled but are a mage, you should read our mage class guide which reveals the secrets of the skilled mages.

    Auction House

By using the AH you can gain really nice amounts of money! This trick needs some money to work however. What you should do is buy for cheap and sell for higher! I've found many people selling high level epics for around 100-200g and then I have bought them and sold for 200g profit. ^^ You should download an addon called Auctioneer and with it, search auctions that will gain you profit. You can find Auctioneer from this url: http://auctioneeraddon.com/

Auctioneer also tells the vendor price for every item, so if you have completed a quest and don't know which one will give more money when sold to npc, this helps a lot!

Sell all trade goods, greens, blues and purples in AH (With a buyout!) unless you have use for them. Sell all useless grey and white items to vendors.

    Other Tips & Tricks

    [Runecloth in Burning Crusade] New!

This is not 100% sure, but in case it is, it can gain you a nice bit of gold in the near future. Runecloth will also be used to increase your reputation with new factions that Burning Crusade brings. This means people will storm into AHs and buy all Runecloth from available and go boost their rep with new factions. (For Blood Elf and Draenei mounts!) However, reputation gaining will be made easier so Runecloth will not be the only way to boost rep. In any case, you should keep extra stacks in your bank.

    [Soloable instances]

As you get closer to level 40, you can start clearing some instances alone, such as Wailing Caverns and Deadmines. I recommend you to get the enchanting profession if you plan to farm instances a lot, since most of the items you will acquire are Bind On Pickup so only way to make good money out of them is disenchanting. You will get nice amount of gold from enchanting dusts and shards in the ah, especially from higher level items. Other soloable or partly soloable instances are:

    Maraudon (60+)
    Scarlet Monastery (50+)
    Blackrock Depths (60+)
    Blackfathom Deeps (50+)
    Gnomeregan (60+)
    Razorfen Downs (60+)
    Shadowfang Keep (50+)
    The Stockade (50+)
    Uldaman (60+)

If you don't know anything about a certain instance, you should download the Atlas addon from
www.curse-gaming.com. I will create a step by step guide into soloing the instances above when I have the time and the expansion pack has been released.

    [Money from enchants]

With enchanting you can obtain a nice amount of gold, especially with over 250 skill. I am not gonna list all the enchants and where to get them and things like that in this guide however. And its impossible to guess their prices. Some of the enchants that you should sell however are Agi/Str/Int, Lifestealing, Demonslaying, Beastslaying, Crusader and Fiery Weapon. Enchanted Thorium is the best however. It needs only one Thorium bar and 3 Dream dusts. They cost little over 1gold and the enchanted bar sells for 2-3 gold! If you aren't a miner, buy a few stacks of thorium and loads of dream dust and put the enchanted version of them into the auction! I've noticed that this does not sell very well, so you might have to wait a bit! This is extremely good for those persons that don't have time to kill 2000 monsters to get a epic item. All this needs is a few minutes and after that you are free to do whatever you want.

    [Mage]

With mage you can earn some pocket money by going to a far away place, such as Tanaris or Silithus and advertise your teleporting service. A good price for a teleport to a capital city is 50 silver. Though you can ask even 3 gold from leet lvl 60 people.

Some mages sell their conjured waters and food, so this can earn you some money too, but only if you have the highest rank of waters and bread.

[How to make over 500g when you are under level 10!]

This is time consuming, but easy! Here are the steps that I followed. First I leveled my human char to level 6, learned mining and then I went to the mine just south of Goldshire in Elwynn Forest. This mine is full of copper nodes and kobolds! These kobolds drops 3 copper every 6th kill or so. There is also a few chests in the mine usually. I started beating up kobolds and mining the mining spots until my bags were full. I got lucky and found a backpack from a chest so I could carry a bit more than usually. Now I went to the town and smelted the ores and after that to the auction house and waited until there wasn't almost any copper for sale. If there's lots of it and you have money, you should buy the cheap stacks and put your expensive ore for sale instead of them. If you don't have money, you should dump your ores to the bank and go mine some more. Usually after 21:00 there is a lot less copper for sale so I could easily get 2 gold from a stack in my realm. Now I had all my copper in auction and they sold almost instantly. After this I bought bigger bags (14 slot bags, 3 gold each) for my char from Auction house and went back to the mine. You will also gain experience by killing the kobolds in the cave, and the faster you kill them, the more copper you find. Do not pick up anything except copper and green items so your bags won't fill up so fast. You should use loot filter addon so you can safely shift loot cause looted corpses will respawn faster. If you don't get bored running from the mine to the AH continuously, this is a very good method! =) I stopped at 300 gold because I didn't know what to buy with all that gold at those levels!

If copper does not sell well on your server, this method is quite useless!

Horde can also use this method, but I haven't tested it. I've heard that there are insane amounts of copper and tin in Durotar, more than any map has, so that would be my spot! =)

    [Even gray items might sell!]

There is also gray items that are valuable. Here is a list of the low quality items that are used in Darkmoon Faire quests. The higher the monster is in levels, the more chances it has to drop one of these items. But note that for example, not all bears drop Torn Bear Pelts.

    [Addons are your friends!]

There are many awesome addons that will improve your gold making skills and playing in general. Here are my personal best choices and the urls to them.

    Auctioneer
    Download: http://auctioneeraddon.com/
Makes using auction house a lot easier. Read more from the Auction house section in this guide.

    Loot Filter
    Download: http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/a...ot-filter.html
With this you can easily filter crappy items and other unwelcome things. This saves a lot of time! Once you are in game with this, type /lf to specify what items you don't like.

    Mobinfo 2
    Download: http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/a...mobhealth.html
This saves and displays all the info about the mobs that you have slain. This also records all the loot that monsters have dropped, making it easier for you to see what mobs have dropped most of the items for example.

    Gatherer
    Download: http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/a...-gatherer.html
Records all herbalism and mining points, also chest locations and other usable items. These will then show in the map and minimap.

    Mapwow
    Download: http://mapwow.com/
This is not an addon, but this is still extremely valuable! It shows every object in the outdoor maps and where to find them! It's like google map. ^^

This is a direct copypaste from my gold guide which is protected by a copyright. If you read the copyright information found in the guide, you can clearly see that it violates the copyright if you spread any of the guide's content like you are doing now. I recommend you to remove your post, general_salsa, or face the consequences. Assuming admins in here give out criminals ip information. If not, perhaps the fbi or local police will change their mind.

First of all the guide isn't really worth any money considering that basically all it tells you is to kill mobs, loot them, sell looted items, and get 2 gathering professions. All the other add info i could find easy at alakazam. Second I think the FBI has better things to do then track down somebody for copyright infringement because if they didn't have anything better to do then I'm positive that free music sharing sites would be hard to find, but they aren't.
