Brings much money!
I have been doing this forever, since I had originally chose Ench as my profession in my wee days as a Rogue. It didn't become apparent how smart it was until the other day.
Story:
I had just finished a long night of raiding and PVP when I decided to sit back for a few, talk to guildies and just BS. without really playing.
Since I tend to not waste even the free-est of time in WoW, I parked myself on the bank roof in Ogr to open some lockboxes.
Well, some douchebag rogue was already there in his fancy 70 dungeon blues (lol) and his Latro's Shifting Sword, spamming trade with the basic "Opening Lockboxes on Bank Roof" bit.
So I popped up my macro that reads, "Opening ALL Locks on Bank Roof in Ogr. Tips appreciated but not needed. And if you don't like what's in the box, I'll d/e it."
Now, I have had that macros for months, but normally chose grinding primals over competing with a rogue that was already parked on the roof. A courtesy if you wil. Everytime someone would come to the bank roof they'd ask, "Which one of you can D/E?" I'd get a 1-3g tip for the box, and then most would tip another 1-2 for the D/E.
Wicked recommend this profession in conjunction with lockpicking.
