Teardrops can make you rich!

Sorry about the title but I thought it was nifty since it's about "teardrops".

Today I was flying around in Nagrand draining motes out of gas clouds and mining adamantite. When I reached the Warmaul Hill I saw there were like 3-4 others flying around draining motes and picking ores and alot of them with an epic flyer that I didn't have myself so it was pretty hard for me to compete so I flied abit further and dismounted at the Twilight Ridge(Shown on the provided map) I started to killing some mobs and I realised that it gave nice cash aswell as some nice greens that could be sold at the vendor or disenchanted. However, after maybe abit over an hour it happend, one of the mobs called Deathshadow Archon dropped:

Ofcourse I got happy! When I went to the AH to sell my friend got abit jealous since I got a so worthy recipe then he started to farm there and after the amazing 20-25mins he actually got the same pattern! I got exactly 800g for mine since there were non of them on the AH when I posted it but then others posted aswell after I got mine sold so my friend only got around 640g if I remembered right, but that is nice cash too! That means that It got a big drop chance from these mobs. Now I don't if it will take 1 mob for you guys to get it or 1000 mobs, I don't know. But imo this is a really nice way to farm, except for the Design he can drop other good blues aswell as green and other worthy stuffs. The best thing of all, no competition about the mobs! But I recommend you stay away from the elite boss that I doubt you will miss!

Don't think it's a bug. I just think you both got very lucky to get the same drop. This is a world drop from lvl 69-71 mobs.

But feel free to farm there as much you want. If you get another soon enough, then we're talking. I'm just sure I wont farm to get it to drop. I leave that to you.

most likely a coincidence, a very rare one mind you, but still.

Hell maybe they do have a slightly increased drop chance, and blizzard just overlooked it.

I kill them a lot for the netherwing daily quest; they drop a few greens but I don't recall ever receiving a design from them. The elites move pretty quick there, so it's somewhat dangerous without a tank.

I did get a nice design from the slugs in the netherwing mine. I kill a bunch of them at a time by AoEing - lots of crystals and greens, but a design only dropped once there for me.

That pattern has the same drop chance as any other mob that lvl. O.o i found that same pattern farming for Primal shadows in nagrand. Its just a random world drop. But gratz on you guys being so lucky.
