Why Rapidshare?

Guys please why do you share all those leveling guides on Rapidshare or Megaupload or FileFront or whatever? The authors of these leveling guides just report them as quick as a wink and the link will be dead.

We have the new technology: Torrent

Basically you can find Hollywood movies and music in torrent websites and Hollywood can't do anything about them. Is Brian Kopp more powerful than Hollywood? So please, use torrent. This way we are never going to have our links dead cause Torrent = Pirate.

torrent = P2P... a peer must always be on, no one on, dead file cant download till someone with 100% of the file logs on to the torrent again
then the cause of that... leechers paste TONS of threads for people to re-share files
maybe even consider this, the contributor to leecher ratio is around 1:20 i would say, one person splitting the download with 20 people at a time? slow as hell download and i dont think leecher's will stay around to share the file....

hosted files ftw unless you want a Huge illegal file like a cracked game (Need for speed for example) or a movie

rapidshare is very fast and simple and as dead_man said, since its P2P the guy has to be on for it to download, and torrents usually arnt as reliable as they arnt as fast as a hosted server would be

Its true that people will ask for it to be seeded, but when hosted on rapidshare (or other file hosting sites) its normally deleted the same day so people will ask it to get rehosted all the time. Then its easier to just log on to your torrent client and share it instead of uploading again.
