Making money with Fishing & Cooking while Asleep!

Hi guys, here I will show you how to make solid money, usually about 300 gold, while sleeping using only a few things.
First off, you need to skill fishing and cooking to 375. The first part of this guide on consists of a list of what you need before you get started.
The second part of the guide gives you useful tips & tricks for getting to 375 in the fastest possible way.
And finally the third part of the guide tells you how to make BIG money with a 0% ban risk.

If You already have 375 fishing and 375 cooking, skip right to the money making part. Dont miss the Iwana Fishing Bot part in the beginning though, it's quite essential.
This is primarily NOT a fishing / cooking guide, it's instead a guide on how to get money out of these otherwise often considered useless professions.

What you need:
* RapidShare Webhosting + Webspace - Iwana Fishing Bot (easy setup) (created by ziao, you can find his topic here; http://www.mmowned.com/forums/bots-p...fishbuddy.html)
* RapidShare Webhosting + Webspace - My configured replacement for the original profiles.ini file.
* Lots of bagspace!

Getting started: - Part 1
* Setting up the bot
1. Download Iwana's Fishbot from the link above
2. Download my profile.ini file configured for Terokkar forest
3. Now extract the Zip-file somewhere on your computer (doesn't matter where)
4. Replace the original profiles.ini file with the one i set up.
5. Configure the following settings in your world of warcraft;

1) make sure WoW is running in Windowed mode,
2) make sure all your video settings are at their lowest, this doesn't include
the resolution
if you do see the lootwindow, but it doesn't actually loot the fish, just turn of
'autoloot' which can be found at the interface options

Important: Fishing must be on slot 1 on your action bar! Otherwise it wont work.


5. Alternatively, you can set up your own profile. The profile equals setting up the colour that you want the program to look for, so that it finds the bob.
It really sounds alot more complicated than it is. Below is an extract from the readme file for those of you who do not want to use my default profile.

it's two easy guides to get those of you who arent yet 375 fishers / cooks there fast.
If you are already 375 fishing / cooking. Skip this entire part. ---

Fishing 1-375 in less than a day - Part 2 (chapter 1)

Most people think skilling to 375 with fishing requires you to put down
alot of time and hard work. This is actually not true, and with Iwana,
it becomes even easier.
Now that you have set up your bot, you should visit a trainer in a capital city
to learn fishing, and buy a simple fishing pole (nothing fancy is required yet).

Once this is done, find a lonely fishing spot in elwynn forest, or in Stormwind Canals. I personally prefer Stormwind Canals, partly because there is a pre-set profile for it
(The light works different at different places,
making your bob's feathers appear different, hence the need to set up different profiles) and partly because there's more people around.
Think about it, if someone was to spot you, a level 70 character, by the coast of westfall fishing it would seem a hell
lot more fishy than if they saw you in Stormwind.

Anyway, lets get started! You can fish all the way up to 375 in Stormwind Canals.

1 of 8. Start the bot
2 of 8. Use the profile Stormwind Day, or if it doesn't work for you, set up your own profile.
3 of 8. Go afk for half an hour, when you come back, you will most likely have 75/75.
Now visit a trainer and expand the cap to 125.
4 of 8. Repeat step 1-3
5 of 8. When you hit 125, you will need to obtain this item;
Expert Fishing - The Bass and You - Items - World of Warcraft from a vendor in Stranglethorn Vale.
After you got it, repeat step 1-3 until you get to 225.

6 of 8. Once you hit 225, you will need to visit Nat Pagle and complete a series of quests in order to take the cap to 300,
he is located off the Theramore shore, this link shows you where,
and also provides useful information on the quests he wants u to do for him.

These quests can be done in a matter of an hour if you use wowhead.com.

7 of 8. Once you have completed Nat Pagle's quests, repeat step 1-3 until you hit 300.

8 of 8. Now that you have reached 300, you will need to travel to outland to obtain
Master Fishing - The Art of Angling - Items - World of Warcraft this item. After you have it, repeat step 1-3 until you reach 375 fishing. Congratulations!


Cooking 1-375 - Part 2 (chapter 2)

Step 1 of 1.
I was probably going to write something extensive, but then I spotted this excellent guide on the internet. It's quite short and easy-read.

Making ze Money - Part 3!
this is the interested part of the topic. time to cash in.
by now you know how to use the bot, you are 375 fishing and 375 cooking.

1 of 6. Get the following recipe;
Recipe: Golden Fish Sticks - Items - World of Warcraft

2 of 6. Clear your bags, you want to have at least 15 free slots.

3 of 6. Travel to Terokkar Forest, this will be your gold mine.
Your objective now is to find a good descrete spot where you can fish undetected for a long while. I have found out that the ledges at the far east in Terokkar is very rarely visited, and there are some water areas there.

4 of 6. Enable the bot, start fishing. Go afk for about half an hour. Once you return, you should have alot of stacks of useless fish, and about one stack of Golden Darters.
Those are the fish you want to be gathering. What you are going to do next
Is that you are going to find a vendor and sell all the useless fish, and divide the stack of golden darters into singles and put one in each bagslot.
This will prevent you from getting a bag full of useless fish every night.

5 of 6. Alright, you have worked your magic with the bag. Now start the bot and go to sleep / work / whatever.

6 of 6. Return a few hours later, create Golden Fish Sticks - Items - World of Warcraft, as many as possible. In 8 hours you should get about 200 fish, or 8 stacks.
Every stack goes for 30 gold on the auction house, believe me they always sell, these well fed food is one of the most wanted for hundereds of raiders on your server, and nearly noone sells them.

That's 240 gold, may not seem like alot, given all the work you put down.
But remember, this was just the first payment.
You will keep getting the same
amount every single night if you wish, and the only work you ever have to commit yourself to again is starting the bot and putting the fish up on the auction house.

Using my guide every night for one week will give you 1680 gold, and in a month, a couple of thousand more.
This is a great way to keep up with raiding expenses, and the best part is that
given that nobody detects you, this guide has a 0% ban risk.

I'm tempted to try this, but far too afraid that I'll get B&. I've got over 100 hours playtime.. I really don't want to lose that. Doesn't blizz check for botters?

Blizzard does not check for botters.
Iwana is an Auto IT script that canot be detected by Warden.
The only thing that could get you in trouble was if another player spotted you and reported you.
However you will not get permanently banned the first time you get in trouble, if you against the odds get reported, you're likely to recieve a warning or a short term ban (3h)

Just scared for the ban.. But are you sure Warden can't detect it?

I have this problem, when I got it up and running. When the fish bites on ti and the mouse is there the mouse doesn't click 4 me

Edit2: I turned auto-attack off and it worked might help some people.
Oh and, that *********** link could you fix that?

This is a great guide man..really! And im soooo going to try this out! I would recommend this is posted on the "members" forums, where not leechers like me can read it...Because by the time tomorrow every single member on mmowned will start doing it and flood the damn AH with these items.

That's quite impossible. Since you have to rename the exe file before you use it.
Anything that doesnt actually change any gamefiles i very much doubt can be detected. I've used Iwana for a long time, its 100% secure.

Needless to say, there has been countless topics wheather it it detectable or not, but yes, it IS bannable and detectable (Report-wise). Even though I am not sure that Warden can check AutoIT scripts at your computer, then I'm pretty sure that standing in the same spot for 8 hours and fishin' is.

So i finally figuired out how to get the cursor to go directly to the bobber but it still dosent right click anyone have any ideas?
