    Leveling guide reviews

Theres so many leveling guides out there now I think it would be helpful to compare some of them. I used joana's pre tbc and got to 60 in 5 days but at the time it was the only good one.

Heres some ive recently tried please post your reviews of any you have tried, it seems to be a pretty competative market. Ill base them on 5 points. Please if youve add a review say how much /played you did.

    2/5
Team i-demise ---> I thought this was crap, just bunch info imported into metamap, more confusing and wasted time . I cant believe they charge money for this.

    3/5
Tourguide----> This is kinda cool, nice layout but not super intuative and I didnt seem to save me any time, wow default should be more like this but it not a real leveling guide.

    4/5
Joanas guide---> I have not tried the newest veriosn but this guide is very fast, the main reason is because it shows detailed steps they allow you to do many qeusts at the same time ( cross referenced). This is super important for fast leveling.

    4/5
Lightheaded/tomtom----> this is pretty sweet, very organized and easy to follow, it works smoothly and fast with your actual gameplay, most useful comments, most up to date and clickable loc's that show on your map, niice.

A guide that combined lightheaded awesomeness with joana's quest foresight would def get a 5/5.

Have anyone tested the "Elite WoW 1-70 Horde & Alliance World Of Warcraft Leveling Guide!" and how would you rate it?
Elite WoW 1-70 World of Warcraft Leveling Guide For Horde and Alliance

I have tested both Joanas and Brian Kopps guides and i like them.
All will fear me, all will tremble in the presences of me and all will they fall by my hand

I'm really surprised you gave Team iDemise guide a 2/5.

I bought the guide and have never been happier! It comes with a 113 page guide from level 1 to level 70 and the MetaMap is THE BEST guide I've ever used! It takes you step by step and gets you your max XP per hour.

Questing before, I was getting 35k XP per hour at level 50. With Team iDemise in-game MetaMap guide, I was getting 125k XP per hour! And this also works for all Races/Classes/Factions...so I'm really not seeing how you thought this guide was a 2/5 but that's your opinion and I respect that

I'd definetly suggest Team iDemise 1-70 Guide!

And no, I don't work for Team iDemise, I'm just a loving fan of their guide!

Ya I just used the metemap version, I didnt like it found all map locs cluttered, the arrow didnt work very well and the arrrow config was a mess. Difficult to read bec all info is in a mousover, shrug I just didnt like feel of it maybe I didnt give it a proper chance. Im curently useing lightheaded.

I like team iDemise. It takes a bit to get used to but after that you start flying. Only thing i disliked about it is that the stuff was mouseover text on the marks on the map. If they could display the text by your character when you mark a waypoint it would be cooler.

I liked Brian Kopps guide because it was the first alliance one i used and it has lots of X,Y coordinates for those hard quests. Although being a pdf slowed down the proccess and the lines of text were to close together.

For Joana's guide i used a hunter and liked it. My friends used other classes such as a priest and hated it. It is mostly designed for Hunters. I didn't like the fact that ther are hardly any X,Y coordinates. and Joana often forgets to have you turn in quests that you picked up earlier. (I have dropped about 10 quests that i completed but never was directed to turn in).

There was another alliance guide in PDF format that i liked because it had more spacing but it didn't trump Brian's guide.

Nothing is better than carbonite (full version) when used by someone who understands limitations of code and common sense to figure some things out for yourself.

That being said, this by far is the most ez-lazy-mode addon I have ever used.

    I 'fricken love it.

I've never been able to [successfully] play this high before.

    Carbonite - Homepage

I paid for a month (before this I was a QuestHelper guy), and I don't regret it at all.

The map function alone is worth the resources.

Yeah, but Carbonite just has a nice function for finding NPCs that you already know where they are and a nice GUI for Quest Logs...but it doesn't give you a guide on where to go Step by Step like Team iDemise Guide.

I'd still highly recommend Team iDemise Guide. It's legit, it's really fast, it's extremely simple to understand, and it comes with 24/7 great support.

I don't see why people still use the PDF Guides o.O When there's this in-game guide....
