[Picture Guide] Copyrighting your posts

Hello MMOwned,
Now have you ever posted something on mmowned and then see it stuck on some other forums with that person taking the credit for it?

This is mainly an idea, basically sticking a transparent logo on your posts saying 'mmowned' or maybe your name meaning someone else can't take the credit for it.

Pros:
1) It's your work and is alot harder to steal
2) No one else can take the credit for it

Cons:
1) With links your pretty damn scr00d
2) Maybe with posts above a page length it may complicate things

1) Make your post as normal

2) Press Print Screen put it into paint and remove edges

3)My paint skills suck just add mmowned in words somewhere + save it

4)Go onto an image hosting site

5)Upload the edited image

6)Get the link for the base image

7)Go onto your post and press edit

Delete all your text on there and images

9)Add an image and paste the link for the image in

10)Press save

Thats all, it took some time to make this just please reply and comment

PS to all those saying it's not my idea, you're right about copywrighting well it ain't my idea, though this is new to mmowned and not a leecher posting this ain't a repost and it's my idea to Copyright mmowned posts.

Thanks all who appreciated it, may i just ask why and this seems to be a thing all throughout mmowned is the fact that the 82 views and only 5 replies to alot of threads. This is seen alot of in the bot and programs section where leechers just download and then leave without any words

Its a pretty good idea, but people wont be able to follow links if you post them

And yeah, you get about one post to ~1000 views.
I posted a barrens edit to make it into a forest and the thread got like 8k views, the Rapidshit link got 950 downloads and i got like 2 commets on making it better, like 8 questions on how to model edit by leechers, and 13 rep.
Leechers will be leechers.

Hmm the idea is good, but poses a few things to keep in mind.
* image vs. text bandwidth wise is a disaster.
* Too many connections might give the bandwidth exceeded image instead.
* The fact that any written word is by default copyrighted unless anything else is specified.

The idea with watermarks is nothing new, however if you just put it beside
the text, it's easy for the stealer to just paint it over. Not to mention, they
can just manually write a copy of the text. Thanks for the effort though

I admit It is a good post And I will +Rep Tomorrow when I can. But i really did think that everyone knew to add anti - rip to pics Otherwise they will get stolen.
I mean In a way When you think about it, There are a lot of lazy leechers who just Copy and paste guides, So far I joined this forum yesterday, I have gained 10 rep and have posted about 4 guides. Lazy leechers suck Therefore I wanted to get rid of the status as quickly as possible. I made up my own guides and posted pics, I forgot to anti Rip them and now they are probably on every other site possible.

I understand where you are coming from and I am sorry for My inconsiderate post.
