A simple tip on making gold

This is a simple re-selling technique I'm sure a lot of people know. To perform this, you will need to have some money at start. After you have 10-15 gold, go to the Auction House, and look through MAIL and PLATE items that are level 40. Thing is, every day a warrior, paladin, hunter or a shaman turn to level 40. What are they gona do? Go to ah and get new plate or mail:doh:. And you'll sell it. Buy all the level 40 plate/mail with decent stats that a warr/pala/hunt/shamm would want, and go on resell it for 1-2 golds more I've seen people buying out all level 10-20 greens and reselling 'em for 1g+ each, but that works a lot less imo. A level 10 is less likely to have 1 gold than a 40 to have 3 gold. Say you purhcased a plate 'of the bear' with 12 stam and 10 str for 2 gold. Resell it for 3 or 4 gold, there's your profit; multiply by all items you bought and resold, and there's your repair bill for next MC run Good luck :wavey: utemontheglass:

question is.. arent there enough gold farmers out there lowering the price of everything for everyone else to use this tactic?

If you buy all lvl 40 plate and mail it's gona sell eventually, because people need it, and supplying people with what they need shoudln't be bannable.. and even if it is, who's gona know? 6): Noone would ever report you, it's safe.

Correction: all the LEVEL 40 chocholate bars! If you bought all plate and mail(good luck with that) then it would be noticeble, but I have yet to see someone report a person for listting an item on the auction house..yeah

You'd that if earning money on teh AH was bannable, Auctioneer would have very few downloads.

Its like saying selling grey stuff at a vendor is bannable.

Recently, as in up to v. 2, the guys that made Auctioneer, med a n AH-"bot". It used only the Blizzard API and continously scanned the latest auctions for good deals and bought them. I mae tons of gold with it. And noone was banned from using it. As with decursive it used tools provided by Blizzard themselves. All you had to do was keep from going AFK. Blizzard wasnt happy about it, but they let it happen.

Playing the AH is not bannable.

Oh, and btw. Nice tip. Kinda basic, but nice.

This can't be bannable as when Blizz announced the "Top List" the description said:
"This tool may provide all the raiders etc... and Auction Entrepeneurs with some entertainment."

Something in that direction anyway. By saying that, they basicly said "you can use this tool to see what is the most profitable item to resell on the auctionhouse". Would they do that if it was bannable?

I probably spelled entrepeneur wrong
