This may or may not be common knowledge.

For those of you with Auctioneer Advanced, when you run BottomScanner, you can run it at the same time you are doing an Auctioneer Scan - I find this useful when I want to keep BottomScanner running but don't want to miss out on any deals while scanning. For me, I run BottomScanner, then click the Play button at the top to start Auctioneer. Sometimes it changes back to a play button (Meaning it canceled the scan), but if you press it again, it should start back up and grab you deals!

Also, works especially well when combined with the tips given here.

Auctioneer gives me far our crazy prices for cheap things *such as 99 gold for linen* I have scanned a lot, but it can't get it through its head at times. So I doubt I would like to have a bot/addon interact with it, buying what auctioneer "thinks" is cheap. Hopefully this stuff works better for others. Thanks for the contribute.

The reason this won't work on many servers is because numbnuts actually keep trying to sell a stack of Linen for 99 gold, or a single piece of Linen for the same price as a stack, hoping we won't notice before we click "Buyout".
Auctioneer doesn't discriminate agains these 'scam' auctions, and as a result, gets a ****ed up median price whenever you try to sell something yourself.

However, I am under the impression that you can tell BottomScanner to only buy when the price for any given item is below any given value?
I.E, not fully automatic, but you tell it what to buy, or rather at what price per item.

Once Auctioneer gets a "feel" for what the AH prices on a particular server are, it will be trustworthy. I've made over 500g since I started doing this two days ago. Good luck!

I always thought those 99g auctions were for gold buyers to move gold. When I have sold gold before to mmoexchange they have asked me to buy items. That was before they started offering face 2 face trades almost exclusively.
