Telnet into mmoglider

Im new to mmoglider and had a hard time finding out how to telnet into mmoglider and use it remote control feature. This post is just meant to teach the basics on how to telnet and remote control mmoglider.

Setting up mmoglider:
First Open up Glider and Click configure


Now make sure Remote Control is enabled. Make sure you put a password any port between 3200-9999 will work but no reason in changing 3200 unless you know another application is using that port.


Setting up Firewalls:
My router acts like a firewall so you must go into your router and find port fowarding and foward ports 3200 and 23 for your computers ip. Port 23 is the telnet port, i dont know if this is need but it cant hurt.

Now we are ready to run glider.

Remote controlling: When glider is started goto start menu then click on run then type in "cmd" and press ok. when the command prompt opens type "telnet" and hit enter. now type "open 192.168.1.4 3200" and press enter. if you successfully connect you will be prompted for your password. after you successfully log in type /help. this will bring up all the commands to control glider. just play around with it and you wil understand.
