Making a custom route for engineer mote farmong (or anything else)

Hello! Searched about this and found some topics about this but none about engineering farm. So...

You need :
Cartographer Addon
Cartographer_Extractgas
Cartographer_Routes

Or just install all the cartographer addons if you want.

Install the addons and follow the guide

1) Farm the clouds in the zone you want to farm (and build the farming route) until you have a decent amount of nodes. Here is my own map, I guess it's quite accurate but if anyone's got a better one then feel free to post.


2) Go in the cartographer menu (on the world map) and go in the "Routes" part and then in "Add". Give the route a name, chose the zone and the data source (extractgas for mote farming in my example) Screenshot :



3) Get in the menu for the route you just created. Optimise it with the settings you want. Extra optimisation will generate slightly more accurate routes, but will take longer to generate. Anyway it's not going to take hours so you can check it. Screenshot :



4) Set up the addon as you like (i suggest turning off drawing the route or to set the lines to be thin, see by yourself). And then, you can begin useing it, just press the button to start the navigation



5) Enjoy! Move the navigation module where you want to, follow the road and keep an eye on the map for clouds. Here's how the navigation looks like :



Of course, it's not perfect. You should use it to learn what routes to take, but when you know it, you should stop using this. It's a waste of time. You would have to go by EVERY node you have on the map or the route would be ****ed up as you can't skip a node. If you have a node where you found a bugged cloud once, the addon will bring you there everytime, so it's a waste of time and you should delete these nodes.

I searched and found your topic before posting. I don't remember everything, but I don't think you mentioned anything about engineering mote extracting. So, it's not that useless.
If you did, then I apologize and I hope a mod will delete this.

EDIT : searched again and found your topic (please post the right link next time). Well, I guess I didn't read more than the title and didn't see you mentioned it.
