    An efficient SM farming guide.

    Hey y'all -
[This is my first guide, so don't tackle me and kick me while I'm down! ]

I just wanted to give a little guide on how to farm SM efficient (Talking up to 80g+ just in loots and silver.)

    I really don't recommend going as either a mage or a warrior - I recommend a paladin.

Before entering, you should get some decent spelldmg/block value items to make it as easy as possible.

My best tip (and easiest) is to get this really nice trinket: Figurine of the Colossus - It heals when you block, and put that up with Judgement of light, and you wont have a problem in the world staying at 100% hp at all times.
And also a quick main-hand together with a good shield:
    Blade of the Archmage
    and Crest of Sha'tar
Slapp +40 spell damage on the sword, and some nice spelldamage sockets on the shield.

[side note: There are some nice bracers, backs and so forth that you either get on heroic or by badges, unless you are an active 25 man raider - Black temple or Hyjal summit that is.)

So gather up atleast around 650 spell damage (Should be easy enough) together with around 8-10% block chance.

    Now over to the build:

This is a PURE farming specc:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (This specc is aslo very nice for also farming the level 50+ instances.)
When farming SM you will have Redoubt(30% increase shield block) and Reckoning(Extra attack on each strike for the next 5 attacks.) up at all times, since you will have 40+ mobs on you, which is very nice because it increases your Seal's and Judgement's value alot, also Holy shield and the Figurine of the Colossus aswell!

After you're done with that, head over to Scarlet Monestary and start your adventure to loads of gold with least effort and focus needed than anywhere.

To farm the instance - I recommend just pulling the whole sha-bang in one big pull. Remember to keep your seal of light and judgment of light (Can probably change the seal to wisdom if needed.) and you can easly pull the whole Graveyard-part and armory in one big pull, Cath is abit trickier because they kick (silence) you, and the Library mobs are bugged, so you can drag them along without them de-aggroing.
(I managed to clear armory within 4 minutes with just pulling and running.)

The strategy of paladins beeing superior is based on the fact that you probably will have over 16 000 armor (ac) with means around 60% damage reduction.

How do I kill anything with a paladin, you might ask. Well, it's fairly simple!
Keep Holy Shield up - Use Blessing of Sanctuary and Retribution aura up and then just pop your spelldamage trinket and concencration them down within a short matter of time!

With minimum durabilityloss, alot of income, fast and easy leads to this beeing a very good tactic to both earn alot of gold very fast and effortles and also maybe boost a friend or two alot quicker than any warrior or mage beeing able to (Because of the limited targets at once they are capeable of.)

    - I hope this guide will be helpfull to some people, not that it took like hours to do! But it's also enjoyable, and easy.

Here is a picture of me doing it while trying to figure out the right tactic, so there was some healing and divine shielding involved(Also I wasn't protection, which changed alot when I respecced that!), but after some runs, it just got easier and easier, which is what you have to do aswell! Everyone plays differently, so you have to come up with your own path of pulling, how many and so forth! So good luck with that exploring and learning:

    Sincerely,
    Me.

That is true, but I forgot to add one thing! I use around 2500 mana on one run, and in my prot gear I got around 8,5k mana (My prot gear isnt great. ^^) so there is as good as NO downtime - Even after constant farming! Which changes alot from mages, where the downtime can sometimes be quite huge.

A similar way to farm as a protection warrior is to use the shield gained from sporregar reputation Petrified Lichen Guard
Occationally i farm the demon hunter initiates boredom with this shield. Since they are dual-wielders they have 24% chance to miss, it's quite simple to pile up 14-18 mobs. Even if I don't have 76% avoidance, the damage is quite small and you could use trinkets to go beyond that avoidance level.

I suppose the method could be used in SM too.
