Hello people of MMOwned, I haven't contributed in a while so I decided to make a guide
Please Note: I know other guides have touched on this but I thought I’d go a bit more in depth
Place: Azshara, Legashi Encampment (Approx. 51,17)
Here's an overview:
What: Legashi Satyr, Legashi Hellcallers and Legashi Rogues
That’s the introduction done.
These mobs will help you level 50-55 very swiftly, when grinding these on my paladin I could kill them in under 20 seconds (using JotC, Exorcism, SoC, CS, HoJ, JoC repeat without JotC) and yield ~218 experience each
Some tips:The route:
- These are quite far away from Horde/Alliance camps so if you are going to grind here stock up on food and water before you go
- this can sometimes be camped and you might get killed by a passing 70 who is mining/elemental invasion
- watch out for over pulling inside the actual camp part
- you might have to wait 30seconds-1minute for respawns in case you kill them extremely fast
It's an easy route to follow and you can go either way around it (I personally went clockwise but it's down to personal prefference)
The Mobs:
Legashi Satyr: As far as I remember these have no abilities and don’t really hit hard, your basic mob
Legashi Hellcaller: The caster counterpart, they have Fireball ability (or something close) and rain of fire. These can do high damage so I suggest getting these down as fast as possible and/or interrupt/stun lock them. They have significantly lower armour then the others
Legashi Rogue: these are, as the name states, the rogue version of the satyr, they have a gouge which lasts about 5 seconds but is usually broken within the first 2 (L2P stupid rogue) and they have a poison which inflicts damage over time
The Loot:
These mobs have loot tables close enough the same with some variations on the rares/epics
These satyrs drop insane amounts of runecloth which on my server fetch 2g50 a stack
They also yield some felcloth, for those who don't know, it was a sought after crafting material Pre-TBC however are quite hard to sell Post-TBC
They will also drop the usual Food, Money and Water
there is also a chance of getting the occasional Blue and/or Epic, I was lucky enough to get a Warmonger drop for me (useless as I was wielding the Ice Barbed Spear)
Side Notes:
The usual tips to make grinding less tedious: have snack with you, have the TV or music on (I suggest WoW Radio as they have recently got their 24/7 feed up check it out on WoW Radio - Azeroth's First & Only Talk Radio Station) even get a non-combat pet to keep you amused
If your a paladin grinding these mobs, exorcism is your best friend
well enjoy have fun and hope those shiny epics drop for you ^^
