[Extra Warlock Pet] Doomguard

Yo, hello all. This guide is about how to get the " secret " Warlock pet, the Doomguard. Some of you know of it, some not.
That's the pet I'm talking about:

Now let's start, shall we?


Start the Quest
The person you need to find called Daio the Decrepit , he's located @ Blasted lands. Go to 35/51 (coordinates) and get the quests from him, which should be 2 for being exactly. The first called The Prison's Bindings and the second The Prison's Casing.


The Prison's Bindings

"You must retrieve bindings for the prison of the Doomguard from lesser demons.
The blood of the Wildspawn satyr that occupy Dire Maul should do nicely. The coagulated blood will bond the Hederine shards and power the crystal prison."

It's easier than you might think, really. Take 1-2 friend to Diremaul EAST and kill ~40-50 Satyr's 'till you gathered enogh blood.
Remember: Diremaul is located @ Feralas. For those of you who have never been there before.
Tip: If you have some pretty nice 1337 gear, you can do that quest alone but it takes forever and it's quite annoying...


The Prison's Casing

"The Hederine demons that occupy the foothills of Mount Hyjal secrete powerful fel poisons, which if left to mature, harden into a dense anti-magic crystal. These crystals have come to be known as Tears of the Hederine.
Not even the immense power of a Doomguard could break the walls of a prison constructed from this material.
Travel to Darkwhisper Gorge in Winterspring and recover the Tears."

I'm more than sure that every exploiter has been to that location before since it was the entrance to Hyjal once.
Quest: Travel to Darkwhisper Gorge in Winterspring and kill demons, in short. You should know where the Darkwhisper Gorge is ( If I'm not totally wrong it's in the south of Winterspring ). There you find demons like the ones you can summone as a Warlock. Succubus (<3), Felhunter etc... These are the mobs you need to kill for gathering the requiered 5 questitems.
Note: This part can be a bitch, these questitems drop rarely...


After you've sucessfully done these 2 quests, you'll get one last quest. Talk to the old man again who gave you the first 2 q's. He's waiting for you still there where you found him. The next and last quest called :


Suppression

"The prison is ready. Now for the most difficult portion of this task.
You must find and capture a Doomguard Commander within the Tainted Scar using this crystal prison.
Be warned! A Doomguard is a cunning and lethal adversary and will seek to destroy you as you begin the ritual of imprisonment. It will flail wildly in its attempts to escape imprisonment.
It will focus on nothing but you, <Name>. Because of this, I must recommend that you take companions capable of keeping you alive!"

That quest is very easy even if you're alone, well, if you know a trick it's easy. Fortunatelly, I know that trick.
It says that you need to catch a living Doomguard, it's such a demon you can see in my picture I've posted on the top of the page. You can find these Mobs in the area where you got the first 2 quests in blasted lands. As soon as you got one, get it to a quiet place where you and your mob are alone. Summon your Voidwalker and let it tank the mob for, let's say 5-6 seconds. Use the Item Daio gave you for the quest. A (I think it was green) beam will appear, like the one you get while casting bloodlech. Soon you'll aggro the mob. As soon as it want to attack you, sacrifice your Voidwalker and wait till it's done. Now, you should've this doomguard in a small box. Take it and talk to Daio.
Gratz, you have an extra, "secret" pet now .

It's fun to enslave the felguards (level 68 elite) in Nagrand though. They hit for 1k dmg, +cleaves. Solo'd a couple 3man quests with it.

ehh any decent lock knows about this but nice guide. Takes entire party to summon and someone has to die for it to work...9/10 times its the lock lol

has rain of fire, warstomp, and cripple but fel guard and infernals hit a little harder

Currently the Infernal and the Doomguard do not have scaling stats, however Blizzard has hinted that they might change this
