How I made 2000g in an hour's work of time.

I have been leeching off these forums for a very long time now so I figure its my time to attempt some help. This sure helped me.

HOW TO:

Well, sometimes we have to get off our server. Whether it is the server, the people on the server, or you just want a change. I transfered off my server about a year ago and used this simple technique and made 2000g pre BC in an hours worth of time. If you ever need to transfer a character to a new server PLEASE use this, it will help you.

- You will need to take inventory on key items in the game on your current server's AH. You could either get Auctioneer mod and run some scans or write it down like I did. Look for common money making items and jot down their average price.

For Example:
Primal Air
Primal Fire
Primal Water
Primal Shadow
Primal Might
ALL Blue Gems
Patterns
Ect...

-Now, make a level 1 alt on the server your going to and travel to the nearest major city and do the same thing.

-Back in the day, the items I was looking at were mostly herbs,ore, enchanting materials, and richeous orbs. I saw that on my new server Orbs were selling for 30g more than what I could buy them for. So I spent about 3000g on buying tons of them. When I got to my new server the next day, I turned up a 2000g profit.

-So if you are ever transferring, make sure to do this for some easy profits.

Yep works like a bomb, done it alot, also blue gems tend to vary alot from server to server. +2rep

I thought of doing that too when I transferred but I was lazy and only looked at the primals, they all happened to be within a few gold of each other so I didn't bother trying to turn a profit.

+Rep though because it's a great idea! Next time I transfer I'll have to do this more thoroughly like you did.
