Its somewhat common sense basically...just bet a number of gold or whatever and use /roll 10..whoever gets the higher number gets the gold...
Fight Club - Have tournaments/duels and bet money on who will win.

Uhh actullay sorry to burst your bubble, but i tried this and the GM told me they are not responsible for gambeling
Ah well...only do this with friends then.
Only do this with friends, if you played in the first 6 months of wow, casinos were everywhere, and so they eventually banned them for the spam it caused.
Common sense, but nice try.
yeah i remember those casinos, then the mass bannings that came with em after everyone and their dog was doing it haha
screw gambeling , play stocks with auction house :P
On that note, im pretty sure blizz dont suport gambling, while factors in game involve chance.
I think theres some mods to play cards with other players though
So will you get in trouble if you do this? or do the
GM's just not help you out if you fk something up?
The GMs just wont help you out, you cant get in trouble. Not anymore at least
I used to do this A LOT made a couple hundred Gold (that was a lot when wow first came out!) but then blizzard put in that rule about no gambling so I decided to stop.
Scamming another Player
This category includes:If a player is found to have perpetrated a scam, s/he may:
- Acquiring items or any other "possessions" from another player through misinformation, confusion, or fraud (Scamming)
- Running a casino (invite others to bet a pre-determined amount of gold, use the "/random" command, and if the "roll" is within certain parameters, lose their money or gain winnings)
IMPORTANT
- Be given a warning
- Be temporarily suspended from the game
EDIT: World of Warcraft Europe -> Game Policies -> Scams
- Repeatedly violating any area of the Terms of Use (ToU), including the area detailed above, will often result in permanent suspension from the game.
This is a good idea with a group of friends that want to spice up the daily life of WoW! I like it! Zomg
