    [Mac] Multiboxing for Macheads

I used the search function on the forums to see if there were any topics on multi-boxing with Macs and, to my surprise, there was no such subject.

Well, I’ll do my best to inform the Mac community that Multi-boxing IS possible and it is very easy to setup.
There are various ways to get multiple WoW applications open at the same time.

Method Uno: Copying the WoW application.
    1) Go to your World of Warcraft Folder

    2) Duplicate the World of Warcraft.app (Command Key + D)

    Benefits:
    1) Saves a lot of hard drive space
    2) Utilizes the same add-ons and therefore you can update add-ons without worrying about problems.
    Cons:
    1) Supposedly it can be buggy
    2) Can’t set up separate add-ons between applications

Method Dos: Copying the World of Warcraft Folder
    1) Go to Applications

    2) Duplicate the World of Warcraft Folder

    Benefits:
    1) Can have different add-ons, its like having an extra computer.

    Cons:
    1) Takes up A LOT of hard drive space

There is a third method which utilizes a hybrid of the two, however, I have yet to try it so I am uncomfortable explaining it.

Good luck multi-boxing my fellow Macheads

I dont know how it works on Macs (dont own one)
But on PC u can just run the executable file twice, I would assume you could just do the same on mac?

Nope, with macs you can only open WoW once, another way to do it is to go into System Pref >> accounts >> Add a new account, type in info and stuff >> Find login options (at the bottom of the place where all of the accounts are shown) >>Enable Fast user switching. This way at first will take a while because u need to sign into the accounts to switch for the first time, but after a while it works.

Then go into Hard Disk or what ever u name it >> Go into what ever the name of your account is, Since my computer is a school one, the name is student >> Go into public >> Then go to Drop box >> Find your WoW folder and drop it into the drop box >> Now switch to ur other account >> Go into the Hard disk >> Look for Users >> Go into the account that you dropped WoW into the Drop box, find it and drag it to ur desktop...

    Easy way to do it
