    TBC Profiteering...A Speculators Guide

    yet another guide from multiplayerstrategies.com
With The Burning Crusade less then 2 months away and beta characters capped out, we have a pretty good idea of what it will take to get to level 70. Along with the level cap raised, all primary and secondary skills have had thier caps raised to 375 and a new profession, jewelcrafting, has been introduced. Lets not forget FLYING MOUNTS!!! All this costs money. Money that I plan on extracting from the masses, and you can too.

All this new content presents challenges from a trade skill stand point and will leave a sizable void in the market for supplies that are needed to skill up professions. This guide is based on my personal experience in TBC beta but still holds a signifcant amount on risk since we won't know what will happen on live. The good part is, most of these items won't cost you anything but the time it takes to collect them and the bag space to store them till the time is right.

TOP 5 POTENTIAL MONEY MAKERS IN TBC
    ---------------------------------------------------
1: Thorium ore - Used by jewelcrafters for prospecting. Thorium as a 10% chance to give you an Outland gem. Also used by blacksmiths to skill up till they can get to 310 and the start of the TBC patterns.

2: Runecloth - Used by tailors to skill up until TBC patterns can be learned. Also used in first aid. You need to get to 330 in order to learn neatherweave bandage. On average it took me 4.5 stacks of runecloth to skill up to 330.

3: Assorted gemstones: MOST gemstones are used in jewelcrafting. Since everyone and his mother will be at least TRYING jewelcrafting, gems will be in high demand. The most needed will be shadowgems and large opals.

4: Mooncloth - A quick way to skill up tailoring is with Mooncloth bags. I beleive the bags are yellow all the way to 315.

5: Copper/bronze bars: Jewlecrafters will need TONS of these to skill up. You need over 200 copper bars just to get past 100 skill and that's not counting the bars you used up to make bronze.

Leatherworkers, you guys are kinda stuck with needing knothide leather for skill ups and it's far more efficient then using rugged leather for he patterns you currently know.

Herbalists....same thing. Keep doing the dreamfoil thing youre allready doing. When you get to Outland, grab all the felweed you can find.

Start collecting whatever you can. The runecloth is gonna be a biggy IMO because EVERYONE will need it for first aid.
