you should move to skywall then. i tryed this once spent 115gp on the ore and tip to jc. sold the gems at the ah for 50gp each, and ended up with 700gp profit. another great method for makeing gp is look for noobs in the ah. takes a while yes but it happens. for example. i saw the lv70 vertion of nightblade epic of course. *normaly it's the lv34 vertion* for a buy out of 120gp! and the lv70 vertion is worth 650-750gp. and i ended up selling it to the guild farmer for 929.60gp! it's worth the wate if you have an eye for the trye value of mose items. pay spetial attention to the lv pf the item and the color of it's name.

simple : 1, you bought 5 stacks of ores = 110g, got 4 gems you claim. 4 gems are roughly 200g. how can you in heavens name lost 9 gold?

2, 4 gems out of 100 ores is like, nearly impossible.

3, dont give bad comments if you have never provided the community with helpfull stuff.

He's not bullshitting. On my server 5 stacks is about 150g, and the gems are only like 20g each. So shut the **** up before you talk, not everyones server has the same economy as you. Don't give bad comments if you haven't provided the community with helpful stuff? Commenting IS helping, he's trying to stop people from wasting their money. So why don't you just shut the **** up and stop assuming he's a liar?

I had 110 ores, paid 140g for it:

2 noble topaz
1 living ruby
1 dawnstone
4 nightseye
1 star of elune --> 350g average

21 green ones --> 28g average
so with an investment of 130g I made 388 (388-130) = 258g bare profit in 2 mins and I didn't even made jewelcrafting cuts from it.

as the % is about 2.5 you could just be REALLY unlucky one day and SUPER lucky the next day. One could theorise that the longer you keep at it the more it will AVERAGE out.

PLEASE take my advice on page 1 as well about using your green quality gems to make rings then DE them and sell the enchanting mats. This adds to this great base.

I also see a lot of people talking about the blue gems being only 20g etc etc. Well eg talasite goes as low as 8g UNCUT and Rubies & Elunes go up to 50-60. The key to making MORE money would be making effective use of CUT GEMS.
