Leveling The Holy Priest

So, Ive looked over all the priest guides on this site, and none emphasized on the Holy tree for leveling. Whats this tree depend on for grinding/leveling? + Spell Crit/Spirit/+spell damage. Thats what your priorities should be as a lvling holy priest.

Q. Mr Priest man, why dont you just lvl shadow like all the other normal people?
A. Well Timmy, the shadow priest is also referred to as the AGK, or auto group kick.
Soon as they see that shadow form, they kick you out faster than a drunk uncle on X-mas.

Q. Well cant you just not use shadow form and lie that your holy spec?
A. First of all timmy you should never lie, Strippers and loose women are the acception of corse. But with the Addition to the world of warcraft site of armory anyone can just look you up really quick and kick you , then put you on the ignore list.

Spell Usage Order.

When solo grinding 90% of the time You will be using a basis of 5 spells.

Holy Fire*
Smite
Renew
Power Word Shield
Holy Nova

Start off first with a holy fire*. Its a longer cast and has a dot, this is why you use it first. Also, if/when it crits it produces the surge of light effect (explained later on)

Follow this with a quickly timed smite.

Followed by PWS to yourself.(Duh)

Then Smite again, Followed by a last holy shock.


WHAT MAKES HOLY SPEC LEVELING FUN

One Talent, 2 points. Surge of Light. Your Holy spells ALL have a 50% chance on crit of giving you a free Smite that cannot crit but is instant and manaless.

Overall this talent gives you that extra damage, and will proc every 2 mobs at least once or twice. As soon as you can, put 2 points in this talent.

WHY HOLY NOT SHADOW?

Shadow spec is currently the most effiecient SOLO lvling spec. But for people who like pve in groups, this spec sucks.

Holy = Mass invites into groups, people love not making runs back from the graveyard.

Simple as that, if you like group play or are an enchanter/tailor go holy and level with holy its not that bad once you start getting gear with + spell crit.

Priests don't have a spell called holy shock. That's a Paladin spell. I think you mean Holy Fire, otherwise not a bad post.
