Enhancement Shaman End/PvE

Hi there... As a wise enhancement shaman, i'd like to give tips to the enhancement shamans who just got 70, and always do bad damage, get flamed for not doing what they were supposed to do. I promise you and there I am serious, that if you read this guide completely, you will do 30% better damage. Because knowledge makes you play better.

The golden shaman rules:

1: Always use windfury on your weapons.
2: If a warrior is in your party, use windfury totem.
3: If there is a druid tank and no warriors use the GoA - totem (Agility Totem)
4: If you'd like to do max dmg on mobs with much life, like in raidinstances, use a shock rotation: Earthshock-Flameshock-Earthschock-Flameshock and so on.
Therefore you could use a macro:

/castsequence reset=combat Earthshock, Flameshock

5: Make sure you have stormstrike already on your target before you cast Earthshock



Weapons:
Always use the slowest (especially in the offhand) weapon you can get. I would suggest you the one from blacksmithing and the other one from the arena rewards (the 2.6 one).

This works because windfury has a 3 second cooldown and if your offhand is to fast, it will always hit the windfury proc (offhand has a 50% dmg reduction).

I'm kind of puzzled looking at your talent build. Although I have NO experience whatsoever in PvE raiding, the two talent points spent in Improved Reincarnation seem to be wasted in my opinion. I think the points are better spent in Convwction or even Concussion. Criticism is appreciated! ^_^

enhancement is good for PVP too but... um I question your useage of the slowest weaps in the offhand
I mean when Flurry procs ur main hand if it is slow (2.6) changes to (2.1) makeing it better than the slow one and u have a better chance to get 1k crits with rockbiter on the main hand. And use strength of earth and Agility totem gives u more crit and attack power

Ok, @Brikaschak I question you with one thing:
Do you think, one time reincarnating more to push your raid when all the soulstones were already given or push (2%) of your 30% dmg is more important.
This should be logical enough.

Definitly: Rockbiter sucks. Windfury owns. Proof:

Windfury Weapon is still the best weapon imbue to use – even the developers admitted to as much in an IRC chat, when they said they have no intention to scale the other weapon imbues to match the power of Windfury.

However: If Hulkzzz would've read my Guide, he would know what 2 change ;-).
His Arenateams do not have a rating over 1000 so this strengthens my essay above.

Why would you use a slow offhand? Unless Blizz finally got around to fixing it, Flametongue on the Offhand weapon will proc as much damage as if it were on the mainhand weapon. Meaning use a very slow mainhand with Windfury and a fast offhand with Flametongue. Again, this may have been fixed and I just didn't hear anything about it.

No. Flametongue sucks. This will still not outdps Windfury even with that kind of "bug".

I think if there is a typical melee party like, feral druid, rogue, warrior fury, hunter and enh sham, its better to put flametongue + agility totem, better than WF one, cause the WF totem only benefit to 2 ppl of the party

Still better with WF, even if it's *only* 2 people. WF will clearly do more raid dps than flametounge. Alternatively putting up a Agility totem, if not WF but never flametounge.

Uh, what crack are you on? Enhancement is great in PvP. If you're just the idiot that uses shock rotation in PvP then you deserve to get killed constantly.

CC? Wtf? Since when do you CC in PvP?

Btw, the topic runs End PvE not PvP. You won't need a shock rotation there. Please read and then flame. A CC is like Fear, Sheep etcetc.
