Timewalking God MM - BM BiS

This is a guide for MM and BM hunters BiS in timewalking Dungeons
I've posted BiS guides before for MM spec, but since then after testing and alot of searching i've made a new list, and also for the BM spec.


For MM i use 125 WoD food buff- For BM i use 125 mastery food, MoP agi flasks and potions. Agi rune ofcourse.
Also i use Heroism drums in case we dont have a Heroism in the group.

The MM spec i found, is best in random groups to progress fast and do tons of damage,
On average i did around 12-13k overall dps around 50-85% of party damage.

MM BiS:

Weapon: Taoren, the Soul Burner WoD multistrike enchant
Head: Yaungol Slayer's Headguard Either use Legendary WoD gem or Thundering Skyfire
Neck: Necklace of the Deep WoD Multistrike enchant
Shoulders: Yaungol Slayer's Spaulders Agi/crit enchant
Back: Fen-Yu, Fury of Xuen WoD multistrike enchant
Chest: Wyrmstalker's Tunic 9 to all stats enchant
Bracers: Bracers of the Hunter-Killer 16 agi enchant
Gloves: Wyrmstalker's Gloves 18 agi enchant
Waist: Belt of Dragons Eternal belt buckle
Legs: Wyrmscale Greaves agi/crit enchant
Boots: Star-Strider Boots 11 agi enchant
Ring1: Ashen Band of Endless Vengeance WoD multistrike enchant
Ring2: Spellbound Runic Band of Unrelenting Slaughter WoD multistrike enchant
Trinket1: Mirror of the Blademaster
trinket2: Ghost Iron Dragonling

Use as many agi/crit gems as possible and full crit gems aslong as you dont lose the socket bonuses,
buffed with all buffs including food you should have a passive 23% multistrike and 50% crit,

The BM spec is specialized in AoE damage, and therefull more usefull in combination with BiS tanks, which do 2-4 pulls per dungeon, gets all mobs around a corner and just
Nuke it all down. in seconds.. This is for serious speed farming.

BM BiS:

Weapon: Taoren, the Soul Burner WoD mastery Scope
Head: Deadly Retinal Armor 27 Mastery Meta gem also a 38 and 42 mastery cogwheel gem
Neck: Necklace of the Deep Mastery enchant
Shoulders: Wyrmstalker's Spaulders Agi/crit enchant
Back: Fen-Yu, Fury of Xuen Mastery enchant
Chest: Wyrmstalker's Tunic 9 to all stats enchant
Bracers: Bracers of the Hunter-Killer 16 agi enchant
Gloves: Wyrmstalker's Gloves 25 mastery enchant
Waist: Belt of Dragons Eternal Belt buckle
Legs: Wyrmstalker's Legguards agi/crit enchant
Boots: Star-Strider Boots 11 agi enchant
Ring1: Ashen Band of Endless Vengeance Mastery enchant
Ring2: Spellbound Runic Band of Unrelenting Slaughter mastery enchant
Trinket1: Mirror of the Blademaster
trinket2: Ghost Iron Dragonling 3x Crit Cogwheel gems


Timing an AoE burst in BM spec goes like this,

Potion drums Focus fire> arcane shot(to make 4 set bonus proc) then Mirror of blademaster Bestial wrath Multishot> Barrage. Keep beast cleave up etc... It can be good to use a few Bombs to aoe interupt spell casting.. it may safe your tanks life. Good bombs are Tinker Bomb enchant on belt. Cobalt frag bomb. and High-Powered Bolt Gun from engi.

I've never been out Dpsed!, so its proof this is some serious gear!

Timewalking Dungeons ARE serious business. Because For the first time in WoW, for over 11 years of playing I finaly get a chanse to show off all my hard work of the past. This Dungeon Event doesnt seem like much with average rewards, But trying to BiS this is way harder then the current max level content raids. With about 20 times more gear to choose from and every enchant/gem and Set bonus ingame nearly. If you like Twinking, this is the ultimate twink oportunity, sadly just for dungeons but still! It takes alot of knowledge of all of WoW to gear for this, And i love it! Cheers

Yah, I -repped him. Posting stuff like that leads to the community dying out because no one wants to share things with toxic people (even if what they said was originally intended to be in a joking manner, text doesn't come across like that). Even though I don't play WoW atm this is still super cool to see people finding newer and better ways to blaze through Timewalking dungeons. Just because something isn't super useful to you or you might not find it interesting, doesn't mean it's like that for everyone. +7 @OP for this, pretty neat stuff.

Hello, For non Engi in BM i would go for Wyrmstalker's Headguard instead of Wyrmstalker's Tunic, and use Rift Stalker Hauberk as a chest piece. since it has very high Agi compared to Stamina,
Also i would use a mastery meta gem over the legendary meta gem in BM spec (since your main focus should be AoE damage.) Also instead of the Ghost iron Dragonling trinket i would use the best On use Agi trinket which is Ruthless Gladiator's Badge of Conquest, some on use multistrike WoD trinket with a socket in it might be better though but its close, Chipped Soul Prism with a socket in it also has very high passive stats in timewalking, if you like to be passively stronger instead of burst dmg.

What are best choices for MM if you don't use engineering items?

Hi, well for MM the only Engi thing you use is the Ghost iron dragonling trinket, so you can use anything you like, I will recomend some trinkets that i found to be very nice,However i didnt nearly try out all trinkets ingame, but i have viewed and thought about probably all trinkets ingame. collected the ones with most promise and tested them.
Ruthless Gladiator's Badge of Conquest
Skyguard Silver Cross
Lucky Double-Sided Coin
And probably the best burst trinket if it has a socket for MM is Beating Heart of the Mountain
Because of MoP potion gives a ton of Agi, that combined with more agi is not very usefull, but using it with a multistrike trinket increases your damage hugely!

And ofcourse i should also mention the Mandatory trinket in every spec is ofcourse Mirror of the Blademaster This trinket is by far the best, with a socket even more so!

Since you have engineering, why not use Deadly Retinal Armor with Agile Primal Diamond and Rigid Cogwheel + Smooth Cogwheel? It seems like it would be better than anything else you can get in the helm slot.

For non-engineers, Wyrmscale Greaves are a very solid off piece for pants also.

Having both Deadly retinal armor and the leggings equipped would make you miss out on the increased 15% damage to chimeara shot, and chimeara shot being like 35-42% of total dmg done will be a big loss, also losing the Legendary meta gem which also does around 2.5% total dmg was the reason i didnt go for Deadly retinal armor, also because i already use 3 out of 4 crit cogwheel gems in my Ghost iron Dragonling trinket.

However it might be worth it dropping Wyrmstalker's Legguards. for Wyrmscale Greaves, and change Gloves of Quickening with Wyrmstalker's Gloves.

This is how it looks in Stats in TBC dungeons:
(i count a socket as 10 agi)
wyrmstalker's Legguards + Gloves of Quickening :84 agi 25 crit 12 haste 7 mastery +1 agi + 4 crit
Wyrmscale Greaves + Wyrmstalker's Gloves : 83 agi 21 crit 27 haste 8 mastery + 15 haste + 1 mastery

Ah, I did not know there was a limit to cogwheels but my thinking was you would just swap to another piece of yaungol's to keep the set bonus if you used the helm. I figured the extra stats from the coghweels may outweigh the legendary gem since it doesn't do that much damage overall (I've seen about 4-5% at best). However, then you'd need to use another trinket, but I prefer on-use ones myself for extra burst on bosses. The Lucky Double Sided Coin is really nice. I'd say it's second best below the Kromog trinket. I don't have engineering so I can't try any of the cogwheel setups.

Heya, ive checked out the differences and it pretty close check it out.

wyrmstalker's legguards: 48 agi - 11 crit - 7 mastery
Yaungol Slayer's gloves: 15 agi - 9 crit -11 haste
Deadly retinal armor: 24 agi -30 crit - 42 haste (30 crit and 42 haste from cogwheel sockets because i already use 2x 42 crit and 1x 30 crit in my dragonling trinket)
Agile Primal Diamond: 14 agi and 3% more crit damage.

Total:101 agi -50 crit - 53 haste - 7 mastery and 3% increased crit damage.

Wyrmscale Greaves: 59 agi - 14 crit - 17 haste - 8 mastery
Wyrmstalker's Gloves: 24 agi - 7 crit - 10 haste
yaungol slayer's headguard: 31 agi - 9 crit - 10 mastery
Capacitive Primal diamond: 20 crit and about 3% total damage done from proc.

Total:114 agi -50 crit - 27 haste - 18 mastery and about 3% increased total damage( varies from 2 to 5% total damage done from meta gem)

in my opinion i would still take the BiS list i've written down here,
but its still pretty close.
And really OP either way in timewalking,
