[Leagion] Install Legion Beta Client

Today i will show you how to install WoW Legion Beta Patch 7.0.3.21737 It is useful for any developer, modder and other people here

First of all you need download my Pre-Installed files in the attachement.

You need about 50GB of Drive Space.

If you can handle the anmount of Space, you have to install Battle.net Launcher software.

If you unpack the files in a folder go into the launcher and select your folder where the Beta Client is and save that path.

Now you have to open the command prompt and input follow test:

C:\Users\Username>"D:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net\Battle.net.exe" --game=wow_beta --repair
C:\Users\Username>"D:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net\Battle.net.exe" --game=wow_beta --install

After you have done it, you will see a small blue circle and a processbar in wow without a new game in your gameselect.

Not entirely... For the "average" non-tech savvy person, yes it is useless, however... For Developers, tinkerers, people who know how to set up a sandbox, it is very useful.... OR if you want to download the Beta because lets say your internet is horrible, and it would take several hours, so you want to download it BEFORE you get Beta Access, so you can hop in the second you do get access, bam all you would have to do is update it when you do get access.

I notice that its saying installing world of warcraft and doesn't create a seprate beta tab. Does this mean that the legion beta will override your live wow?

Thanks for this, but what happens when the beta gets updated but there is no extra tab in the launcher?
does it still work or does one need to use "--game=wow_beta --repair" / "--game=wow_beta --install" again ?

You need to do the --game=wow_beta --install thing again to update it.

No. It's just the build info file. Wouldn't hold any account information and even if it did I doubt they'd care.
