~8400g/Hour at Guo-Lai Halls! [ServerHop]

Hey guys!
Long time since i last contributed but here is something I just found out.
I was looking for a fast place to farm golden lotus reputation to exalted and i discovered a fast method to farm gold whilst doing that.

What you need for this is addon called Cross Realm Assist

How you should prepare? As much bagspace as possible and some kind of portable vendor for trashloot.

So what you need to do is this:
Enter mainhall just right after the entrance

Clear the hall and loot the mobs. As a caster it should take like 10seconds. After cleared, loot the mobs and hit ''quick join'' on crossrealm assist addon.

What you need to focus on is the cache keys the mobs drop. One clear should be around 1-2keys.

When you feel like you have collected enough keys, you need to enter further to the halls.
In the room is 3 entrances, pick the middle one.

In the end of the place you should end up here:


There is the boxes you need the keys to open.
Open all of the boxes and again hit that ''quick join'' button on your addon.
Each box contains around 21-38g and trash items.


My calculation of gold/hour is based on this:

10minutes of testing i got 24 keys, loot worth of 330g.
I used 24 keys on the chests and looted trash and gold worth of 370g.
So total 700 gold of EDIT 5minutes work. Which makes it rough 8400g per hour.

I also have to mention that there is very low chance on the mobs to drop a skyhard. If you farm 10 skyshards you can combine them to skycrystal which summons a rare npc which drops a mount, Reins of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent with 100% chance. I have seen people sell this mount for over 50k gold (Invite the customer to group and kill the rare)

Edit: Tried for 30min as boomkin, oneshotting most mobs

Got like 900g after it all. Maybe just bad rng or you had out of this world rng. From what I can see 8000g is not at all accurate

I would like to argue with your numbers.

The respawn rate is upwards of 35-55 minutes. There are limited connected realms to zone into. You're going to hit a limit of realms to transfer to, so you mayyy not see the gold projections you're saying.

I would recommend venturing between the rares outside as well, spend a few minutes in commuting to there, as well as more rares to kills and more boxes!

also 700g @ 10 minutes of work = 6 x 700g = 4200g/hr not 8400

700 gold in ten minutes is 700*6=4200 gold an hour. Why is your predicted gold per hour twice as much?

You can only hop to connected realms (a realm which 3-5 servers are linked into, in Pandaria), you're not hopping to a specific server. There are limited servers to connect to ALSO you're only joining groups that are listed as "auto-join", using that addon; so you'll eventually run dry of realms to do this within the hour span

Also, 35-55 minutes == respawn time of the rares you're killing, Maybe that's changed since xrealm was introduced? I'm just going from experience of 9 months ago when I did this as well (I built botting profiles for it, for HB)

Just got a little carried away because i did this for total time of 20minutes while farming reputation and it worked for that duration.

I love the idea, keep finding more like this! Research more rares and what they drop. I do this in blasted lands and score a ton of xmog

I personally farm this area and its between 1-5k depending on rnjesus. Make sure your a tailor + potion of luck to increase your profits. There are much better places to farm gold. But, as you know keeping those secret keep me and others rolling in gold :P

Cool method but the calculations are wrong, you cannot calculate earnings like that...

You dont actually need to server hop. The chests keep respawning if you use all of them around the room. Also, you were extremely lucky if you got 24 keys in 10mins, usually it's way fewer.
