Are you sure about this? I deal with learning and caging pets nearly every day I play the game and I've never come across such a thing.


When the system was first added in MoP and all your pets from your account were added from each character Blizzard allowed you to learn more than 3 of each pet. You could keep these pets in your journal and as long as you never caged them have several of each pet forever. I've still seen people with 7+ of some pets from when this change was made.


Also OP updated the website adding several new features and pricing has greatly improved, I recommend everyone checks it out again it's basically a new site since it was first posted.

Quick update: fleshed out the site a bit, and added a host of new features.

There's a helpful way now to see which pets are the best to beat certain breeds: Counter-pets for Aquatic - WoW pets
