All right, so at level 60 Paladins and Warlocks get their epic mount quest. Unlike their level 40 mounts, these mounts require time, money, and most importantly: mats. Most Paladins and Warlocks are willing to pay far over the going price for mats, just as long as they get what they need for their mount. First, decide which class you wanna do. I'd recommend Warlocks, purely because locks are pretty popular leveling classes, so you'll find a lot of 59's and 60's. But paladins work too. Here are the mats for both quests:

Warlock:

* 3 x Black Dragonscales
* 10 x Elixirs of Shadow Power
* 6 x Large Brilliant Shards
* 25 x Dark Iron Ore
* 3 x Arcanite Bars


Be sure to get like 4 sets of each-12 Black Dragonscales for example.

Paladin:

6 Arcanite Bar
40 Runecloth
10 Arthas's Tears
1 Pristine Diamond
1 Azerothian Diamond

Same here- get 4 sets of each - 160 Runecloth for example.


Go onto trade channel, and advertise that you're selling everything a paladin/lock needs for their epic mount quest, and you will get like a million whispers. Just tell everyone how much you're selling it for. Sell it for 1.75 times the going price on the AH, but they won't care! And voila! You're rich!

I have done this sometime now and it´s great I have made lots of gold and I though it was worth sharing!

Ye buy the things you need at AH or in trade if it´s for sale there and then just resell everything in a set.

The lock/paladin would be happy to get everything in a set and wouldn´t care so much for the price and you can make a big profit at it.

Made some calculations about the prices of the warlock reagents on my server

3  x Black Dragonscale 		= 3 x 1g 	= 3  g
10 x Elixir of Shadow Powee = 10 x 5g     = 50 g
6  x Large Brilliant Shards	 = 6 x 10g	= 60 g
25 x Dark Iron Ore		= 25 x 5g	= 125g
3  x Arcanite Bars		 = 3 x 10g	 = 30 g

TOTAL				                           268g

Thats cool, if you buy everything and sell it in a set then try sell it for 300++!

Why would someone pay such a high price for the whole set when it can be obtained from the AH for less? It only takes a few more minutes. Does this really work?

Ye they would just think it is easy and good to buy everything in a set and wont really look at the AH ... (Maybe the smartest ones but thats rare)
