Why? A small army of mobs standing very close to each other, you don't need to move at all. Stand in the middle of them, oneshot them, realm hop, repeat. They all drop the parts.

How much profit? Well that really depends on your server, on my server they sell for insanely high prices all the time for some reason.

Considering the ridicilous amount of mobs you can kill per hour, the profit should be easily north of 1,5k/hr with minimal effort even on servers where the prices are lowest. I suggest using the addon Crossrealm Assist because it lets you see if a group has auto invite enabled or not.

I tried this with a level 3 trading post for about 45 minutes with no luck. Could be bad RNG on my part, but could you confirm if this is still dropping like it should. Checking the drop rates on wowhead it should be working so it may just be bad luck for me.
