Headless Horseman Gold Farming

Ok with the coming of halloween patch I wanted to prepare you for a great money making before the market gets flooded.

The Headless Horsemen will be a special Halloween Only boss that can be summoned ONCE a day by a player with the quest. He has a chance to drop a ridable NON-BoP broom that varies from speed and style.

This is where you can get your cash if your fast and have about 4 friends willing to join you ^^.

When you have finished your chain quest to the point of summoning him have the other 4 abandon this step. Go to SM and summon, kill, and gain loot. Rinse and repeat this 4 more times with each player grabbing the quest to summon him.

Place the brooms in AH for 300-500g and advertise in it trade channel. With luck you'll have several bids in before the market is flooded and made a decent profit ^_^.

Remember you must do this the very day Halloween event is started to get max chance of AH control.

If not, can he be downed with a 70 hunter and 70 paldin?

no one will buy one for 300g. its one time use. Also no you cant 2 man him, you need 5 people. Do you really think bliz would make someone with a 100% chance to drop epics 2 mannable?

The headless horse from what I seen on PTR is doable with 2 people but that was in tier 6. Even 5 man groups wiped on him.

I read a blue post somewhere that stated that tooltip is wrong and it is supposed to have a 14day duration.

did i not make it clear. BLIZZARD WILL NOT MAKE A BOSS WHO DROPS EPICS 100% OF THE TIME SOLOABLE, OR ANYTHING BUT 5 MAN.

I had the mount on the PTR and used it well over 1 time, the mounts will have a 14 day duration and neither are they unique so you can have a whole bunch and sell (this may how ever be a subject of further changing)

Nice idea, but since the broom has a 14 day duration you can't put it on the AH :/. So you'll need to sell it via the trade channel.
