Ok I tried it.

Here are the results within what seemed minutes:

Tome of Conjure Water IX dropped and within 3 minutes Plans: Ragesteel Shoulders

Ive been farming forever for those. Finally after the 3rd Kill it dropped!!! woot.

2 primal mana, some motes of air and the stacks of Primordial Essence or Elemental Fragment sell for good g to vendors.

Insane. Going back tonight since i had to go.

Great spot!!! No one is rly there and the greys and greens along the way are a bonus as well.

I earn roughly 150g an hour in this spot.. I get constant blue drops (leg guards of the shattered hand has dropped at least 20 times for me here) and 8-10 greens an hour which means 30 or so arcane dust and the occasional shard.

20-30G worth of vendor trash and 3 primal mana's, 2 primal air's per hour.

This is the one of the best farming spots in the game imo.. never any competition.

ok this works very well and ill tell u what my strategy was I had my epic mount in about a week maybe a little longer but still relatively fast all I did is make sure u have ure armor fully repaired then I would buy 60 waters and 60 food I have a warlock u may need more water but thats what ive been getting, the netherskates drain mana so like i said u may need more water, now you are ready to go to the spot, fly or ride there on a mount for speed then start killing watch out though these mobs spawn at a wierd rate sometimes I found myself surrounded my 6 mobs which will kill you if u dont know what to do all I do when that happens is seed and drink potions and health stones while im also dotting up mobs and life draining they will die jus keep an eye on ure health ok then jus continue killing mobs either till ure bags are full or till you run out of food and water if ure a lock and you still have food but no water just life tap im a demo lock so i have my felgaurd to help me kill stuff so it only takes about 2-3 shadowbolts so its really quick make sure u go to interface options and put it on autoloot so it saves time bc all the loot picked up in this area is worth a good bit and also watch out for the rare mob that spawns here he hits like a fat bitch u will need a group to kill him but he does drop a blue dont try to solo him he cant be feared and he hits for over 2k and he aoe fears so watch out and thats all you need to know to get your epic mount, jus sell the primals on the ah my air primals were going for 20-25 gold and my primal manas were going for around 18-20 gold at one point when the server restarted i sold a few for 27g just be knowledgable of what every thing is going for and you will have ure mount in a small amount of time jus follow my method.

also u can either disenchant or sell the greens that are picked up they give 3 diff things when you de them either large prismatics which sell for about 25g on my server, arcane dusts which sell for about 40g per stacck on my server, or greater planar essences which sell for 5g a piece on my server, but if your an enchanter its best to use these mats to lvl ure enchanting unless u just want money

reys seem to not drop many airs

I also have used this spot for Air and Mana motes. There is another benefit I did not see mentioned.

If you are doing the Daily Netherwing quests there is a quest to poison the peon workers. The tainted meat that you need to gather drops from the rays.
