Easiest Illidan Kill (Fly Hack Required)

So.. I'm not here to tell you where to get a Fly Hack / NoClip so.. I know I can't stop people from asking but I'd like it if you didn't..

The NoClip is not required but definitely helpful..

If you do not have NoClip just kill High Warlord Najentus & the gate will open..

When you get up towards the top & the screen goes grey.. don't panic.. don't do it.. don't stop.. don't swing your camera or otherwise try to adjust.. just keep going..

Since there has been debate over it in the past.. I'll tell you now & I should have put it in my video.. killing any bosses.. most commonly debated the Illidari Council is NOT required..

Without the NoClip the climb towards the end at the top will be slightly different too I may make another video of a "without noclip" version..

I originally figured this out @ WoD launch when not many hacks were available.. NoClip for example & all I had were things like Fly..

This was pretty common a few years ago, but Blizzard has start tracking raids like BT and check if all other bosses were still up when Illidan was killed. Several people here on the site was banned for this idk 2 years ago?

I did this back in cata like every week and didn't get a ban. I wonder how exactly they keep track? You can do stuff like this in basically every instance like only killing Vezax and Yogg-Saron in Ulduar.

Probably by the lack of boss kills, skipping objectives, time spent etc. For example, if you need to defeat a boss to open doors but you don't bother and still manage to kill the final boss. It's best assumed that everything in there is monitored and there's no real legit way to bypass all the bosses.

Abusing raids in this way is a little risky and easily detectable, usually resulting in a perma ban as it's obvious your cheating your way through the raid. Having said that, as long as you do it in moderation and don't totally abuse it you should be ok.

You can noclip+fly straight up through the roof above the entrance to the raid. Waste of time to walk through the sewers

That's how it was originally suggested to me as well..

I tried to do it that way a lot.. & while I don't disagree it can be done.. I always ended up outside in an instanced shadowmoon valley :-(

never found the right angle to travel through the sewers.. so that's what got me thinkin' of alternatives..
